So it has come to my attention that our law pertaining to how drivers should act when passing a horse on the road is way to vague and left too much to interpretation . This law needs to be revised

So my horse and I almost got hit by a car today !!!!

Enough is enough !!! Usually the cars drive by way too fast and give us the finger when we signal for them to slow down …. Some even stop and cuss us out and say we have no right to be on the road . Others say if we don’t like it ride somewhere else !!! But today this car was so close that my horse could have kicked the car … if my horse was shorter I could have touched their hood !!!!
We have the right to be on the road just like you do , just like people riding bikes .. we follow the rules of the road for horses , we simply ask that drivers give us plenty of space and drive by us like you are driving in a camp ground …. PLEASE!!!
We are literally are on the road for about 1/8 of a mile from our house to the trail head !!!
