Calling all hound lovers! 🐾 Meet Raleigh, the Treeing Walker Hound mix with a heart as big as his nose is for sniffing! This lovable “pup-kin" is a handsome, loyal, 7-year-old gentleman who’s the perfect buddy for both adventure and cozy snuggles.

Raleigh is a gentle soul who enjoys his walks with volunteers and makes an excellent office pup, happily snoozing beside his human companions! While he’s not big on playing, Raleigh is dog-friendly and is happy with or without dog friends by his side

Raleigh would like to politely mention that feline or feathered roommates - like chickens or other small animals - might not be his best match. His curious hound nose finds them just a little too intriguing!

Could this be the weekend that Mr. Milo goes home? 🐾 This handsome guy is quite a catch and has so much love to give to a family of his own! Just look at those gorgeous eyes and his golden coat - how can anyone resist?

Milo is a social butterfly—an active, playful teddy bear who’s as thrilled to meet new people as he is to spend quality time with family. He’s a fantastic walking buddy, always keeping a loose leash, and he knows all his commands - from “sit” and “stay” to “heel” and “off.”

Baypath's current facility has served us well for nearly 40 years, but we have now outgrown the space. This limitation presents daily challenges and is hindering our ability to continue growing and meeting the needs of the animals, our dedicated staff and volunteers, and our community.

The exciting news is that Baypath has secured a 50-year lease on a five-acre parcel in Hopkinton, where we will construct our new, larger modern facility. Guided by a dedicated building committee and designed by leading shelter architects, this center will meet the highest standards of animal care, education, and community engagement. This new space will ensure that Baypath remains at the forefront of animal welfare and continues to thrive well into the future.

Sweet Ms. Piggy is making the most of her first New England fall in foster! 🍁

Thanks to her loving foster parents, Ms. Piggy is truly flourishing in the comfort of a home. From trying on Halloween costumes to curling up for cozy snuggles, she’s been showing off her good manners and gaining confidence every day!

Here’s a sneak peek at what she’s been up to:

Kipper is such a sweet senior 💕🐾

Be still my heart😍! This fabulous guy is getting ready to celebrate his 11th birthday and would LOVE to do that with his very own family in his forever home!!

Kipper arrived quite underweight and in need of some TLC, which his wonderful temporary foster person happily provided. He is now back at the shelter waiting to show his adopters how truly special he is.

He is quite the gentleman, who loves to show off his tricks, enjoys a leisurely stroll and adores snuggle time with humans. Kipper is looking for a quieter home, a soft dog bed and humans to give him all the love he deserves.

Do you love napping? Well, so does Nicholas!

This laid back guy is on the lookout for a loving home where he can perfect his snooze skills. Whether it’s basking in the sun or curling up on the couch, Nicholas is all about finding the best napping spots. He’s at his happiest when relaxing - preferably, horizontal (who can blame him?) - and enjoys quite companionship.

Nicholas was a star house guest in foster care before transport, getting along well with cats and other dogs, and he’s fully housetrained, too! Though napping is his specialty, he also enjoys leisurely strolls and would love a family to help him stay active between snoozes. Plus, he’s always ready to take a break for a belly rub or treat

This sweet senior, Kipper, came to Baypath underweight and in need of some serious TLC.

Despite it all, Kipper was a true gentleman in his temporary foster home:
