Home for the Holidays: Fee-Waived Adult Dog Adoptions Through This Weekend! 🎄
From December 5-8, join us for “Home for the Holidays”, a special fee-waived adoption event for dogs aged 1 year and older! Baypath is partnering with incredible Massachusetts shelters to help as many amazing dogs as possible find the loving homes they deserve — just in time for the holidays!
Participating shelters include:
MSPCA-Boston, MSPCA-Cape Cod, MSPCA at Nevins Farm, MSPCA-Angell, Worcester Animal Rescue League, Thomas J. O'Connor Animal Control and Adoption Center, Lowell Humane Society and Berkshire Humane Society

Baypath's current facility has served us well for nearly 40 years, but we have now outgrown the space. This limitation presents daily challenges and is hindering our ability to continue growing and meeting the needs of the animals, our dedicated staff and volunteers, and our community.
The exciting news is that Baypath has secured a 50-year lease on a five-acre parcel in Hopkinton, where we will construct our new, larger modern facility. Guided by a dedicated building committee and designed by leading shelter architects, this center will meet the highest standards of animal care, education, and community engagement. This new space will ensure that Baypath remains at the forefront of animal welfare and continues to thrive well into the future.

Liz shared exciting news about Baypath’s plans to break ground on a new facility in 2025. With over 200 volunteers, adoptions, and surrenders happening every day, Liz explains why a new, respectful space is crucial — for both the people and animals.
(Right now, those adopting pets and those surrendering them share the same small lobby, creating moments of emotional contrast. The new facility will provide more space and privacy, creating a better experience for everyone involved!)
