Some of you might of seen Hornell partners for growth video yesterday showing the ceiling at the store. Although deemed safe to open today we just wanted anyone coming in to be careful and mindful why we have a floor area blocked off...never rains but pours!

Final note - if you need feeder rodents LIVE on that day please contact Bambi by Saturday evening so you can pick up at the store THIS time round. She may have a few extras but that would be mice rather than specific others.

Well we are officially closed but could not just disappear without a thank you - too many people to mention, obviously customers - from regular to one offs, to suppliers of fish to furries, from wholesale to individuals. There would not be enough space to fulfill what I wish to say..
Appreciate the previous pet store and owner Tena for giving me the opportunity to start to my business adventure; to all my friends who helped along, to the staff who endured my "I have an idea!" and then change it - to Bekki, Amber, Geoff, Elisha, Bambi, Dolly and hubby Bruce - 7 days a week, 52 weeks of the year - thank you.
Although the doors are closed now I am planning a day or two with final clearance - I will post a couple of days prior to being here - plus a few photos if I can get on line - there will be no phone and no credit card at that point - CASH SALES ONLY.
Another work in progress. I feel empty but accomplished at the same time - Im sat at work right now - its too quiet but I feel I did what I could for the public and their pets - everything has changed these last few years, such a shame for the small business and also the customer pockets - but I wish Christina at Butterfly Kisses Boutique all the best with her new line of pet products and needs - you are a star for taking this part of Over The Bridge on - a venture I hope you can grow.
So I post a couple of staff photos and my thanks .. truly I have met some awesome people - thank you for the kind words, the flowers, the relish (yum) the everything.

Final weekend approaches - we have been marking down constantly - further discounts now on majority of items -

Please be aware the food stock is normal price to due a delivery in this week.
On the final note we did order in Frozen fish food but ALL lines were out of stock to us once again. This is one line that will be carried at the Butterfly Kisses Boutique BUT there is none available at this present moment. Customers wishing to have their food ordered through Christina can do so as from March the 1st.
Lastly I can not get on line too much over the weekend - so if you send a message it may take me some time to get back to you, feel free to call the store for a quicker response.

As you know we are closing our doors at the end of February. It was a big relief to find a local business willing to take on certain lines of products and pet needs that are not readily accessible when we are gone.
Christina and her husband at Butterfly Kisses Boutique are taking on supplying the community, plus live rodents will be available several days a week via Bambi, see contact details below.
Please as always we ask you to be understanding and patient with the change over as it is a big undertaking for Christina - I am so grateful to her for taking this on. I wish her all the success possible.
