Parvo. This is what parvo looks like. Death.
We are coming out of winter. Temps have been below freezing and a snow storm is expected tomorrow. This is TODAY in OUR community.
Parvovirus. It lives outside and inside for over a year. It can be tracked into your yard from a squirrel that went through an infected yard 5 blocks away that hasn’t had a parvo+ dog in 10months. It could be in the house you just moved in to. Or maybe you visited a friend and you tracked these microscopic death cells into your own house.
Parvo. Imagine having the worst stomach virus of your life. Your insides are being destroyed. Blood. Blood. And more blood. You are dehydrating .... can’t absorb nutrients...... your death takes 5 days; you loose half your body weight until you finally die from the symptoms of parvo.... dehydration.
$30.... for a 3 booster series. That’s how much it costs to avoid all of the above. If you don’t have money for a regular vet (more than $30) go to Petsmart/Meijer clinics (also more than $30 but better). If you don’t have money for that, buy the vaccinations from Farm and Fleet ($30). In warmer weather, we will also have clinics ($15). There is no reason a dog should suffer such an incredibly slow and painful death.
DOGS SHOULD BE GETTING THOSE VACCINES AS EARLY AS SIX WEEKS. IF NOT THEN, START NOW!!!!! They MUST have THREE doses of it 3-4 WEEKS APART or it does NOT work.
