Hey there!

As many of you know, I am Alexa the proud owner and operator of Urban Tails Grooming.

Some of you may not know, I will be leaving the salon for a second time while on maternity leave with our second daughter!! During this time I can assure you my salon and your pets will be in the best hands. Our manager Amanda with be happy to help you with any questions you may have, groomer Tori and bather Hailey will give your pups the love, bath and haircuts they deserve.

I appreciate all of our loyal customers and am so grateful for your understanding during this much needed family time!

As I reflect on the year that has passed I’m excited for the year ahead for Urban Tails Grooming. Every year has been a great adventure through its many ups and at times downs! As most things do.

The salons New Year’s resolution to all of our customers is to get everyone on the same page! With our policy for cancellation, late pick up, late drop off the list goes on! Remember that when you don’t show for your appointment or last minute cancel your groomer loses out not only on their time that they made for your furry family member but they also lose out on a good part of their pay to make a living! This is so important to me as an owner that our time is valued as we spend our days loving your sweet pups. We go over and beyond to give them the love, gentle touch and reassurance they need.

Over the last few months I’m sure you have noticed a few unfamiliar faces! I would love to introduce you guys to the new extension to our family and explain what this means for our ever growing future!

Amanda is our new salon manager! Not only am I honored that she’s the first official manager at Urban Tails Grooming, she also is an outstanding groomer, with years of experience. She has mastered a gentle touch to your pups needs as well as a refined attention to the needs of each individual dog that comes to our salon. Her love for dogs is what Urban Tails Grooming strives for!!

Hailey our bather and profession dog lover! With many pets of her own she has a massive heart for all furry friends! Her attention to every dogs needs she makes sure that they are getting the love, care and reassurance they need to have a calming successful experience at our salon!

As most of you have been on this journey with me from the start! I am so grateful each and every year for your continued love and support! I consider all of you a part of my family. Some may know that our family at home is growing (we are pregnant). This means my face will be fading from the salon from time to time! But I can promise you my salon is in the best hands I could possibly ask for! If you don’t see me on a specific day there’s always a way to get in contact with me and Amanda can help you with that! 🎅🏼Urban Tails Grooming is going to be open on Sunday, 12/24/23 offering "SIF" (s** I forgot) grooming. There will be an addition "SIF" fee as we will be giving up our family time. This will be by appointment only, and we will only be offering this to a few dogs.
