Final Chloe update:
After speaking with Dr. Bubaneck, her mommy has chosen to say goodbye. If she had the surgery, her quality of life would not be very good. She would not be able to run, would not walk the same if she learned to walk again, and would be so fragile that she would never be able to properly play again. Her mommy couldn't do that. I didn't tell you guys, but a month ago they lost Chloe's best friend, their three year granddaughter to a house fire. The only thing that's giving her mommy comfort is that she is there to greet Chloe. We tried our hardest and did everything we could for Chloe and in the end, it wouldn't give her quality of life. So her mommy did the most unselfish thing ever and sent her to be with her best friend! May they both rest in peace and God bless this family! Our hearts are crushed. 💔

Chloe update #4:
So, good news. She doesn't have a hernia. Bad news. Her breaks are worse than we thought. I can't remember everything they said so I've added the video at the end if you would like to watch and listen. Blue Pearl wanted $5000.00 just to keep her over night. So, she was transported back to Sugar Land last night. She's resting comfortably and will see Dr. Bubaneck tomorrow. We need prayers that there aren't too many breaks and she will have a great recovery! I promise to keep you guys posted! As soon as I hear something you'll hear from me!

Chloe update #2:
Okay. So things have changed, her pelvic hernia is possibly causing a blockage to her intestines. Dr. Roo, a doctor a highly respect and trust, has sent her to a surgeon that specializes in things like this. It will need to be exploratory surgery. This will begin with a CT scan. She is currently being transported to Blue Pearl Veterinary Specialists. We need your prayers! The more we dive into helping her the worse her condition seems. So, we're sending her to the best place we can to give her the best help! PLEASE PRAY! She's strong but needs the extra prayers! You got this Chloe! Will pay an estimate as soon as we get one. She's on her way there now!

Chloe update:
I called to see how she was doing this morning and the doctor picked up. She said she's been resting very comfortably all night. They've kept her on a very good pain management. She's not swelling as bad and they've kept an eye on her clotting levels since that bruising was so deep. Everything is holding steady! Her surgery to repair the pelvic hernia is this afternoon. We haven't received an estimate as of yet. As soon as we get one I'll let you all know! I've attached the receipt of what we've paid so far to keep her stable and comfortable. Thank you again for your support and donations. So far we've received $314.70 in donations. Thank you for the continued support!

IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!!
Hey guys! Tonight we received a call from Sugar Land Veterinary Specialists about this sweet 2 year old Shih Tzu named Chloe. Chloe slipped out her families home and got hit by a car this evening. Chloe has a pelvic hernia, broken hip in 3 places, and broken femur in 2 places. I've spoken with the doctors and her prognosis is good. The unfortunate part is her family can not take on the full financial part of this accident. So, we've stepped in. The only thing we can think about right now is Chloe and how we can help her! Her family is a mess so we're helping them with the only way we can right now. Her medical!

This is where we need you! In order to get her the surgeries she will need, we need your help! The first surgery is tomorrow to fix the pelvic hernia. Without this surgery, she does not have a chance! Next, will be fixing the breaks. The pelvis may heal on is own but we are waiting on Dr. Bubaneck for the breaks on Tuesday.

Kai was returned to us today. As we got her to the trainer, she slipped out of her slip leash and took off! She ran into a wooded area near the trainers property in Hockley, TX. Please keep your eyes out for her and share with anyone you know in that area! She's scared but likes meat! Hopefully she'll come to someone if they offer her meat!
