Oliver’s sister ~LaLa~ has an appointment at the beginning of March. She needs her shots, and she needs to be spayed. She has already gone into heat twice. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Unless otherwise noted, there are no sutures to remove. If your female was pregnant or in heat, please keep your pet away from intact males for at least 4 weeks.

Thank you to the people who are still reading my story. Oliver is doing well, other than the anxiety. That will never go away. Because of his anxiety, he over grooms himself. He doesn’t have any hair on the parts of his body his tongue can reach. He’s also still very afraid of other people, except for me and my daughter.

He was not like this before the incident with SNAP Houston. I am a forgiving person, but I’m still having a hard time forgiving this place, their employees, and the people who were directly involved for what they did to my Oliver. 😢

Please take my advice, and take your pet somewhere else. I highly recommend Texas Litter Control! I adopted a little girl kitty (Lana) to help Oliver get over his depression and anxiety. Please take a good look at Oliver, so you can see his fur/coat. 😡

Oliver has pulled out every hair he can possibly reach on his tiny body. sorry for the rear facing photo, but I couldn’t get him to let me photograph him sideways. This is what cats do when they have anxiety and permanent damage done by trauma.

Thank you to the people who have reached out to me to share their stories. They all have a common theme. I wouldn’t risk having your pet be quarantined for 10 days at your expense (by animal control). It is very serious when they come knocking on your front door. You have 24 hours to surrender your animal to be quarantined. I chose to quarantine him at my private vet which cost a little over $500. My poor baby probably thought that I abandoned him. He wouldn’t eat their food. He would only eat the food that me/mommy brought up to the vet. They wouldn’t even let me see him through glass. Avoid that mess by avoiding SNAP Houston! Go with Texas Litter Control! 💯

Oliver can play fetch! I’ll try to get a good video to show everyone. He acts more like a dog than a cat. He allowed me to put his collar on for the first time in months. He still has anxiety from the whole SNAP Houston ordeal. I highly recommend Texas Litter Control. They are incredibly organized and professional.

I think the packaging on these are hilarious! I bought some for my cats, and one of them loves them. Oliver doesn’t like them, but my Bubba does.

Hey guys… I just wanted to post an update. I created this page, so everyone would know what SNAP Houston did to me and my pet (and several other individuals and their pets).

Someone contacted me to let me know the same thing happened to them. I highly recommend Texas Litter Control. They do not allow cats and dogs in the same small waiting area. Cats go in first. Dogs go in second. There is a line, not a small waiting room with cats and dogs crammed in together, creating chaos.

Hopefully, this page has caused SNAP Houston to lose enough business. Enough business that, hopefully, evens out with the money I had to spend to quarantine my cat who *never* bit anyone. Cats scratch, not bite. I can’t stand a liar. These people will lie!

I decided to leave the page up in dedication to my Oliver. I now post updates about him because he deserves it after everything that’s happened to him. He now suffers from anxiety, and he “over grooms” himself by pulling out his own hair. Instead of being trusting toward humans, he is scared of everyone… except for me, his mom.

Oliver doesn’t trust going to the vet now. It is so hard for me to get him out of the house. It wasn’t like that before. Do not risk permanently damaging the well-being of your pet by taking them to this horrible place called SNAP Houston!!!

I cannot undo the damage they did to my animal. So, I decided to hit them where it hurts. Their pocketbook... because they obviously care more about money than they do about your animal/pet. I had to learn the hard way. I would like to prevent anyone else from having to learn the hard way. So, if you’re reading this… thank you. We have probably helped more people and animals than we even know.

I highly recommend Texas Litter Control. They will actually tell you about any discounts you might qualify for. At SNAP Houston, you have to ask them about any discounts you might be eligible for. How do you know, unless they tell you? Just make sure to do your research search before you go to that place. They are terrible! SNAP Houston sucks!

I just wanted to thank all 96 people who are on this page. I would love to get four more people to make 100. There needed to be justice for Oliver because he now suffers from anxiety. The last time I took him into the vet, they told me he was over grooming due to stress/anxiety. That was months ago. Now he has patches of fur missing and bald spots all over. He is very extremely scared of any other humans besides myself and my daughter. he’s actually more privy to me. I will be posting photos of that today.

My Oliver is sick. I noticed his third eyelid has been covering about 2/3rds of BOTH of his eyes. In addition to that, he has been defecating all over the house... which is completely unlike him. He always goes to the litter box. His stool is very loose, almost to the point of diarrhea. It also has an oily substance about it.

I took him to the vet. They couldn’t find anything wrong with him. I paid $200 to have him seen. They gave him some medication, but it hasn’t worked. I don’t know what else to do. So, I am politely requesting information from anyone who has experienced this with their cat. I need advice. PLEASE!

I’m very concerned about my Oliver. Also, whatever he has… has been passed onto my other cat. My Bubba is showing the same symptoms as Oliver (except for the defecating all over the house).

Any advice??? Thx, in advance. 💕 🐈

Oliver has an eye infection. His third eyelid is showing. That’s a sign that something is wrong. Hopefully, it can be cured with antibiotics and eyedrops. I know he’s not blind because I did a little test. He can definitely see me, which is great. Please pray for my boy! He’s already been through so much in only two years.

I am fostering some kittens that were found outside. He could have gotten something from them. I really don’t know. If anyone on this page knows what this might be and/or how I can treat it… Please leave a comment.

I plan on taking him to the vet. I just don’t know when I will be able to afford to get him in. Please keep my little buddy in your prayers. He really is such a good boy, and I’m actually pretty upset over this. I pray he’s not in any pain or discomfort. 😢 🐈

Oliver is now a healthy young fur baby! He has his shots, including his rabies shot, and he’s finally been neutered. He also has a microchip in case he gets lost. Texas Litter Control did this for me… for $25! SNAP Houston was going to charge me $85 and didn’t include everything he got at TLC. ❤️

Oliver has started limping on the paw that was injured by SNAP! He can’t even walk on all fours. Now, I have to have that looked at by a real vet. It’s the exact same paw. He won’t let me touch it. He’ll let me touch every other part of his paw... except where his claw was ripped out. I’ll make a video of him walking or trying to walk tonight and post it. 😡

FYI: My fundraiser is to pay for Oliver’s surgery. I used the money I had to cover his mandatory quarantine (which was totally unnecessary). I also had to pay for his lab work and rabies shot, along with everything he needed during his 10 day pet jail sentence. Smh.... Shame on you SNAP Houston!!!
