Was I expecting puppies today? Absolutely not. I got a call this morning that Ginnie was not only in labor but just had her first puppy on her guardians bed! I got over there as soon as I could. But, this is Houston, and nothing is close. By the time I got there, she had 5 puppies and 1 more was born before we headed back home! I say all the time, I am so lucky to have such amazing guardian homes. Thank you to my amazing guardian family that stepped up and didn’t even bat an eye. It was a flawless delivery. I do believe the pups are maybe a day or two early as they are JUST getting the last bit of hair on their heads, but they are all breathing and eating normal for now. 🥰 More updates to come!

Ok guys. I have to admit that I just really the names of this mythology theme. I don’t know much about mythology etc. But someone sent me a list that I just really wanted to put to use 🙈🙈🙈🙈🥰🥰🥰. These beautiful names fit their looks so well!
That said, our chocolates are 10 days old now and adjusting well to life. Lots of girls in this sibling group! I can’t wait to see them grow up and watch the dynamics of that.

Our little Trees are now 2 weeks (plus some days). They can hear and see and they are just starting to toddle around and gain some independence. We are watching their little personalities start to immerse and we are so proud of these little ones! Molly has done an amazing job taking care of them. ❤️❤️

10 puppies! All before bedtime. What a beautiful thing!
However, this was one of the most chaotic whelpings. Puppy number 1 was born while we were at the playground. I watched on the camera and rushed home! Then, the evening family chaos just piled on. I made hot dogs and French fries and spelled out Christmas lists all while assisting Nutella whelp 10 puppies in record speed because my kids are simply unbothered 🤣. We all lived to tell about it!

Tomorrow our lil Petite Goldendoodles will be a whole week. The goal is to try to get individual pics and announce our litter theme.
All that to say, we are on puppy watch for Nutella. So, that could change my plans. ❤️

Motherhood looks good on Molly. 🥰 I could sit and stare all day. I have done this over and over and it’s nothing anything less than amazing. Life is a beautiful thing. 🥰 Mollys human guardian family is going through a hard time right now. And I know this gives them one tiny reason to smile through this storm. Please keep them in your thoughts.

There’s no easy way to make this post.
First of all, I want to say that Ruby is physically okay. She is healing up nicely from her c-section. She’s a little sad and confused right now as the solo surviving puppy passed away this morning. She is getting lots of snuggles, her favorite foods and all the love in the world.
Why did this happen? This is Ruby’s and Bodie’s third litter. We believe there was some sort of fluke complication that caused Ruby to absorb most of her puppies very early on and for whatever reason these 2 puppies put up the good fight, until they couldn’t. It’s almost like her body wasn’t aware she was pregnant to nourish these pups. Which makes sense now, that she wasn’t going into labor, the pups were born very small etc. Of course, I question all my decisions and second guess this or that but at the end of the day, we did not get the outcome we had hoped for and that’s just how it is sometimes.
Right now, we will focus on recovery and make sure that Ruby stays in good spirits and comfortable.
Thank you all for your kind words, texts, messages, etc. This was a new experience for us. ❤️

After monitoring Ruby for the past week and hoping she went into labor on her own, we made the decision to head in for a C-section this morning.
Ruby is doing well. Unfortunately one of the puppies passed away shortly after birth. The other puppy is stable but prognosis unclear at this time. All we can do is give her time and care to thrive and see what happens. I wish I had better news. I #
Ruby has had 2 healthy unproblematic litters with the same sire - so we are unsure what has caused all this. But, we do know these things happen. Not going to lie, today is so heavy and when these things come up, I really doubt my commitment to transparency. But, this is literally nature and some things are out of our hands.

We are still waiting on Ruby to whelp her 2 puppies. Smaller litters are actually more of a problem than larger litters and this one has me so stressed! She is on day 64 and the longer the pups stay in, the bigger they get and harder to get out. But also since they are not out of room and there’s not a bunch of puppies, sometimes mamas body doesn’t get the memo and takes its sweet time to go into labor. Anyways, please 🙏 that Ruby goes into labor soon and we get these pups earthside without complications. Ruby has been monitored with our repro vet and we have a plan in place if she doesn’t go into labor but ideally she whelps these naturally.

Lil Rosie is quite the firecracker and her lil mustache cracks me up. She is a 3rd generation future mama (Nala’s Grandaughter, Ruby’s daughter, Mollys sister). She is not related to Ginnie, but Ginnie is her sister by family. They both have the best guardian family and totally have bonded. Love this lil doodle family!

After a long wait, Molly is in heat and gearing up for her very first litter. She is Ruby’s daughter and 14 pounds. We expect to breed her in the next 10-14 days. Which will put her due about 2 weeks after Ruby! 🎉 We are so very excited about this litter and invite you to Follow along for the journey.

ICYMI, Ruby is in heat! She is expected to honeymoon by next weekend. That should put her due by November 1st and puppies go home around Christmas! 🎉 Stay tuned for all the updates and to follow our journey through instagram stories.
I expect Molly will be right behind her and go into heat anytime in next couple weeks!

Oh Ruby! Just an update our next planned breeding. We are patiently waiting for Ruby to go into heat annnnnnyyyyy day. This will be a repeat litter and Baby Daddy Bodie is also patiently waiting for the phone call. That’s it. That’s the update. 😅
Also, Molly should be going into heat any day also. 🤞🤞 that they have pups around the same time!
