Wooferton's Dog Walking and Pet Sitting is an accredited member of PSI, Pet Sitters International as well as fully bonded and insured. In addition to our dog walking and in-home pet sitting services we also offer overnight stays and house sitting. alking and Pet Sitting was created by Jennifer Ridgway, an avid animal lover and mother to 3 rescues; Razorclaw, Sprinkles and Lady, now fondly known as Mrs. Through my rewarding volunteer work I was introduced to Lady last spring and immediately fell in love with her. Lady was rescued in late 2012 by a caring police officer, saving her from suffering on the streets in Houston's East End. Lady was diagnosed with bone cancer in one of her rear legs and she was patiently waiting in boarding for a medical foster. I took this sweet pit mix into my home in July and after she was settled into her new home we decided the time was right for her right rear leg amputation. I officially adopted Lady at the end of last year, giving both of us the BEST Christmas present ever! Lady is happy, healthy and cancer free!

I'll be fostering this lovely little girl through Joyrides Rescue, isn't she the cutest?! Snickers was dumped near the area where Mrs Wooferton was found and had been living in a ditch. What do y'all think of her name? If anyone wants to donate for her vetting in Lady's honor that would be wonderful! ♥️♥️

Exciting news!! Joyrides Rescue has tagged this baby girl they are naming Snickers and she will be busted out of jail Friday!!!. Thank you Robb and all of Joyrides for making this happen. Snickers face expressions are the best and I saved this one to share when I knew she was going to be pulled. She is giving her previous owners and BARC the raspberries. I still 100% feel Oreo is with us but feel that someone is caring for her. I went out this morning searching for her wherever my car took me and I'll be out again tomorrow morning and the weekend. I only met Oreo once but I remember the two sweet kisses she gave me once I gained her trust. Show yourself Oreo, we all miss you, we want to hug on you! Please God, help her find her way home ♥️♥️

I wanted to write to let you know that we have had no recent sightings of Oreo. We are hoping she finds her way back to us, somehow - someway.
It has been a roller coaster ride of emotions since she got away. We have met new friends. We laughed together. We have cried together. We have seen good in people and we have seen bad in a few.
We have put out over 350 yard signs, handed out 1000 + fliers and numerous laminated posters. We have walked miles, talked to anyone who would listen, to include the homeless, the dumpster divers and dog walkers. We hired a tracker. We hired a psychic. We had news coverage. We started her page.
We have had hundreds and hundreds of calls. We have raced around Houston to follow leads just to come up empty handed. We drove and still drive around all hours of the day and night, still hopeful. We won't give up, our hearts won't let us. We love her and think of her each day.
"Oreo" is Lost in Houston, somewhere, we know she is out there, come home baby girl, please come home.
If you see a stray, help them, in the name of Oreo.

Hey y'all, please please be on the lookout for Oreo! She was last seen April 26th near the intersection of 59 and Fountainview and had gotten loose from her doggy day care. She's timid and skittish but a sweetheart. Her family is devastated, pray for Oreo!!

PLEASE HELP US! Sweet Oreo has been for a week. She was from HOPE just a few weeks ago and got loose when going to a doggie day care. 😿 She is chipped and has a collar. Please do not chase her. She's in . Help us and her furever family!

5/4 UPDATE: We think she is hanging out between Hillcroft and Fountain View (closer to Hillcroft), south of Richmond, perhaps on Skyline or Windswept.

I can barely share this with y'all, I knew yesterday that Lilly would pass today. I'm so blessed to have spent the last few days with her after we lost Lucy on the 13th. Lilly and Lucy had been together for the last 14 years, I know they're so happy now reunited at the Rainbow Bridge. Rest easy my Lilly girl, we will never forget you and Lucy Goose ♥️♥️ My heart is broken

Another sad day for Mrs Wooferton's pack, we lost one of our favorite senior gals yesterday. We've cared for Lucy and her sister Lilly for the last 5 years. Lucy Goose, as we all liked to call her, lived the good life up until the end. She was such a sweet doggy, always excited to see you when you walked through the door. Run free at the Rainbow Bridge Lucy, you will forever be in our hearts ♥️♥️
