As of February 1, 2023, all dogs and cats in Houston that are at least four months old must be microchipped.
Microchip identification is the most reliable way to find lost pets and return them home with their owners. The procedure is safe, and easy.

We are hosting a free microchip clinic on 1/11/25 from 11-3 for anyone, not just La Porte residents. Come on by! Supplies are limited so come early!
