It’s hard to get a good picture of a moving gecko! But here is Cosmos,she is from the Mystic and Derf pairing. Her bright yellow is lined in black and she has the cutest Halloween Mask! She is going to be a stunner when she’s grown!

The first of the bynoes hatched! It took 65 days at 82 degrees on dry hatch media. There are 2 duds in this group and 2 still left to hatch at any day now. The pictures don’t do her justice of how teeny she actually is!

Also,fun fact about bynoes geckos…they are all female! Like mourning geckos,they are parthenogenetic.

Finally had healthy hatchlings from Emmy! I can’t wait to watch them grow and develop their patterns. These are the only ones from Emmy this year,so they are very special.

These may not be everyone’s cup of tea,but they are really good pets! Low maintinence,entertaining, adorable, and yet very personable! I never thought id love gaving roaches as pets( shout out to Seabugs N Stuff!),but here we are! 5 of these guys just went to their new home and I’m excited for them.

Talk about a happy accident! Someone was beyond thrilled about the mix-up with my feeder order! I ordered 100 large crickets, 100 small crickets, 1 bug burger, and items to start selling fruit fly cultures… somehow there were over 75 superworms IN the packaging and half my order was incorrect. I was pretty frazzled, so I stuck Nitro in the box and told him, “Go to town. Enjoy the buffet!” He chowed down in no time! I made sure he didn’t overdo it, then Diesel got his chance at the buffet. Sometimes you just have to laugh at life’s absurdity and go with the flow. The place where I ordered is making things right and reshipping the entire order via fedex overnight.

Everyone who knows me knows I love a good trade. This trade was one of the best I’ve done to date! We got to play with,pet,and feed a Capybara! We also got to see and interact with some other super cool animals,this little vampire deer was the sweetest thing alive. Total cost? One emperor scorpion. Easily an experience I will never forget!

We actually have THREE species of micro geckos! I’ve had this one for quite awhile now,it’s a frilled/flat tailed house gecko. It’s still fairly skittish,but not as much as the dwarf yellow heads. We are not producing this species,it’s 100% a charming little pet!

New species alert! Yellow headed dwarf geckos are timid animals but entertaining to watch. Their colors are vibrant, with females featuring orange/yellow and blue speckles on their bodies and bright yellow underbellies. Their debut is expected at shows in late 2025 or early 2026.

Here’s the not so great part of breeding reptiles. This little one hatched out with a severely deformed dried eye and no eyelid on the other. Another breeder and I went over the lineage,incubation temps,and husbandry. nothing stood out to what could be the problem. So I had to make the unfortunate decision to cull this little one. The quality of life would have been not great and was probably in pain with the bad eye already. RIP little one. ❤️

While we wait on the eggs to hatch,meet the dad of most of them this year! This is Derf,he’s a sweet boy who just goes with the flow. There’s not a single thought behind those eyes. ❤️
