His owner saw the trim announcement on the Greater Good website. Thank you.

Waa Waa WAS very good. Thrilled? Well, no. (Not thrilled with his sweata either.) Tolerated me completely.

Guess who received a new stuffy today!
Roxxy LOVES them. She is a blur of activity when she gets one.
Benny usually inspects them first, but is at work when I deliver. Today it was like "nope, I'm ina car, no time for inspecting".

Potty pads were selected also for other siblings.

Preston and Sky are regular nail trim clients here. Preston was perfect today and got one of these wonderful Yummy Combs.
Sky wanted a Yummy Comb but no nail trim. She tried to ignore that the two go hand in paw:)
She was a lil too squirmy to get trimmed and neither her owner nor I would force a dog into it.
No trim, no treat, with no negativity. Negative human responses accomplish nothing to an animal except fear or disinclination in the future.

Then they went shopping.

Owner Teresa Bues ended their visit with a treat just for being cute and regular customers..

Good news, it will be in the 50s today during the Greater Good nail session( and I can do most trims in your vehicle) and it's inside at Purrsnbarks in the morning session!.

Meeting LONG time clients of both and here at Greater Good in a few minutes. They moved 3 hours away last summer, so it will be fun. I hold stuff for them, we will see what they take home.
She is in the ocular industry, so the eye art is a given.
Also going home are two juvie cats I pulled from the feral colony I inherited..that is exciting also!
Siblings Selina and Kyle are going to a great life.

Precious Jax finished my wonderful day in a subdivision trimming nails.
There is a very strong human to dog bond and vice versa.
I think he would have been perfect without treats, of course he got them anyway.

Bailey was a new client in my subdivision nail trim session.
She is half Aussie, half border collie, so double smart.
She is the first dog in I don't know when that I could not trim all nails. She was just too determined and too strong for 2 of us.
She did pretty well initially, diverted with a plate of thinly spread peanut butter. I had not thought of that much spread out, adding that to my tricks. Then her sharp owner moved on to carrots; we were headed to chicken next when Bailey decreed " no more".
I beat myself up mentally, disappointed I did not finish but later realized that we got all but 3 or 4. It's not good for their gait to be lopsided is my concern.
She is also gorgeous and her cost is wonderful to feel. I hope she gives me another chance.

If this appears to be a LOT of fun at trim time it is!
For starters, I have the dubious distinction of being the only stranger at whom lil Dallas has ever barked.
Then he tries to establish being the Head Poobah while being the smallest one in the room.
It does take 3 people and peanut butter to trim him, just due to the squirmies. It is easier than it sounds, we have a routine now.
Precious Hazel loves peanut butter as well, she just does not need as much as lil Dallas, yes, bigger dogs are often easier.

Appointments in a subdivision, like any of my times, are flexible, since I never hurry.
If we had timed how long it took to trim this gorgeous girl, I would say 1 minute or less. That does not include coralling her. Once her owner got a not tight hold on Gracie it was easy.
Sharing this because cats have a tough reputation when it comes to trims. Some of that is accurate.
If your cat stresses at the vet, try a home trim once and see if your cat prefers it.
Gracie is not a fan of me, but less so of riding in cars...a win win.

Sunday was nail trim Fun Day in the subdivision!
Buddha is a regular, thank you, and usually snags the first appointment of the day.
He works that sad face the entire time, after running to his crate, as if that makes me leave.
He is such a sweet boy, even though NOT a fan, gets teeny treat bits the whole time to encourage him.
Good boy!

Saturday at the Greater Good, my phone would not charge, so missed pictures of some new nail trim clients.
I am hoping some get sent to me to share, but I know this is a particularly hectic time.

Belle is a gorgeous white lab. She wanted no part of trimming. With great holding by her owner, all were done.
Below is her picture. She is happier, just remembering her trim there:)

Max is a juvie rescue lab and was so docile. Those words rarely go in the same sentence:). I was with him rooting for SMU which was on during our trim session. I'm so sorry, Max.

Pommes(German for potato) was also pretty docile, esp for a Corgi. That is a great breed, which I rarely get to see.

Mocha has been a regular nail trimmee for several years and I still call him Mango. Cannot figure that out.
He comes all the way from Sugar Land to close to I 10. That is such a compliment.
Thank you for the cookies, I really like the not so sweet ones like that. I can eat more.
