Check its collar and microchip to make sure it is is updated. Please use both as few civilians have scanners when they find a loose pet.

Because this owner had a collar with a phone number and this stranger stopped, Tito was safe and owner had already shown up by the time I stopped.

BB is a new rescue, came to work with her human this morning where I share a booth at an antique gallery in Spring.
Poor girl, does not like riding in a car, then gets a nail trim. I'm sure she thinks it's Monday:)
She was absolutely perfect in the less than a minute it took to do....this is a chihuahua, mind you.

They aren't snappy in general, just VERY twisty.

Ginger was just as sweet as she could be. Felt betrayed of course after thinking she was going for a car ride. First she got a shot, then stuck with me.
Isn't she pretty?

Next nail trim session is Feb 22nd 1-2 pm.

Churro already had on a muzzle on, due to a lil history:). He was so good we will try without one next time.

I have emailed for the surgery appt already as a spay just in case one of the fewer females can't resist canned food. I won't feed that day either.

Precious regular trim clients Lana and Lily tolerate me, but really love their post trim treats. Today was particularly good because neither one needed treats during the session. They focused well.

Lily wanted a soft cone, so she purchased this one also. She didn't need it with me, but I use them to slow down those sometimes quick head snaps back towards my hands:)

Will have these goodies and several sets of pet steps tomorrow at both pop up locations: in Copperfield and Dairy Ashfor...

Her owner asked about a muzzle, which I rarely use, not against them, sometimes necessary.
Abby was so good and her owner did a great job of holding her, it went smoothly.

They are all very good today, takes less than 5 minutes to trim all three.
2 chihuahuas and a cat??? 5 minutes?. Yes..when trimmed regularly it does not take long.

Tim Tim had to ride in a car, get pulled out of his crate, get TWO shots, put back in crate, then I pull him out for nail trimming.
I gave him LOTS of grace for being cranky.
Tim Tim is also about 16 years old.
He refused the kitty crack at first, then finally caved.
He did much better than I would have.

Gracie, Gordie and Snicker came back today since I was so booked last Saturday. Thank you.
Not only were they good, all three were well managed by one petite human!
Even though Gordie (on front page also) ignored his calming pill, Gracie liked hers and was very calm.
Snicker is incredibly strong, so took a lil 2 person wrestling to trim his nails. Never upset with us, just determined:)

This gorgeous day in Houston began with 4 dogs, at home trims.
The spiciest always goes first with me, of course that would be almost any Terrier, so Pippa.
Great owner holding made this visit very easy.
Pippa was better than expected and supervised the other three trims from the sofa ledge.
Lunie was a disappointment to chihuahuas everywhere by tolerating me the whole time.
Lucie lay perfectly still for me even though not thrilled with me.
Luckie is a loner by nature, so no group pictures for him. When his turn came he decided something by the pool needed his attention. Once coaxed back in he was very docile also.
The owner commented on how convenient and less stressful home visits are.
Thank you for trusting me with your dogs.
