I want to share this post with all of you as I know you all know my brother's beagles that I share here.
I want to thank everyone for your birthday posts and comments. I truly appreciate them, and I am sorry that I have not been able to reply or acknowledge them. Things did not go the way I had planned for my birthday.
Many of you know that my brother Tim Eluskie had a stroke almost 9 years ago (March 19, 2016) and it was a bad one. It took away his speech (he had Aphasia) and his right side was severely affected so walking was difficult along with his right-hand mobility. Growing up, Tim was a bright star, who loved sports and was that all around guy that had the best smile and everyone loved. He got dealt a bad hand in his early 20's and had a lot of medical issues but he persevered. This last stroke just took that strength away and he was tired of fighting and working hard and didn't think that speech therapy or rehab therapy would help him, so he just lived day to day with his Beagle's who were his whole world. He was good with that. We tried to push him to work at speech and physical therapy but he just didn't want to. I would pick him up and take him to our family functions and when we took pictures, I always tried to get him to smile, because his whole face lit up when he smiled.
Yesterday, December 16th, my birthday, I went to pick Tim up to take him to my parents to celebrate and never expected what I found. My brother was gone. My heart is broken. The beagles were there and confused and hungry. To say my family is just besides themselves is an understatement. Marley and Copper are with me and I will continue to care for them. Marley is 16 and Copper is 13, with a heart murmur.
We ask that you keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we get through this trying time this week, especially at the holidays. Tim was going to be 60 on January 4th, 2024, and we were planning his birthday.
I am sharing the information on the visitation and mass for him below. If you can't make it, we understand but if you have any stories or messages that you would like to share, please share on the Lynch Obituary page for Tim. We would love to know how he may have touched you or any special memories you may have.
With Love,
Chrissy and the Eluskie Family
