I skipped day 5 due to personal craziness but Jax stayed home with the hubby and did very well, until the 2 monsters came home then he was on edge again.

Day six we have no other rescue willing to help, but our trainer Sergio may know somebody. Did well at work made a new friend Hannah she is my coworker that also does training with dogs and Jax liked her quite a bit. Although my manager says Jax is quite the distraction and creates a tense work place and doesn’t want him to go anymore. He really isn’t that bad at work considering all the commotion to me it’s normal crated at a vet clinic behavior. Non aggressive just noisy because he know I’m there, he hears me and there is a lot of people in and out of the room he is in.
Tonight be barked at dad when he enter the house then settled down nicely. Mckayla fed him dinner and he paid no mind.
I’m hopeful and grateful.

Day 5 started our day like usual went to Cumberland Farms did some growing no barking, came back home went with grandma for a long walk and then hung out a bit before going to work. Went to work without issue into the building to his crate, barked a little bit but settled down no issues with staff. I was a little shocked. He made it 10:30- 5:30 full staff a staff puppy in the same room and I didn’t get aggravated. Made it home where did well for a while but still feared dad and Mckayla lunging and barking. Busy days and routine no time to really relax, body feels like it’s been hit by a bus then backed over from sleeping on the couch with Jax. Mind you he takes up way more room than he really needs so I don’t get much sleep.I reached out to another rescue to see if they can help, rescues run on donations and support from the public and so far we are negative. Most rescues have help and support from volunteers and kennel staff, we do not. With my schedule it is very difficult to get the extra physical and mental time to work so many extra hours after already having compation fatigue from my day job, to focus on something that needs so much one on one time and needs a confident soul to teach wrong from right. Without finances to seek professional training I’m at my last resorts.

Day 4.. woke up went to Cumberland Farms this time parked at the pump and went to get my coffee, he did well a few growls at the guy next to us but kept his cool, until we got home because the house was awake.. I was able to speak with his trainer Sergio A. Nieves my household may never be the perfect place. We are hoping that someone without children or house visitors but is active and can presue more training to provide Jax with the leadership, and security he needs. If not I’m afraid he will have to go to the heavens.

Day 3 went driving so Jax could see people, growled through the window at Cumberland farms, then took him out of the truck at Tractor Supply wanted to bring him in basket muzzled, but the few people and other dog he saw outside was a little much, so I didn’t push my luck, he slept all the way to Stoneham and back. Once home we started trying to work with Mckayla and him went for a walk, not too close. Will listen to sit and paw and gladly take treat, but he still thinks she is a threat. Also still thinks my dad is a threat as well. Night is early let’s see if we can end in a positive note. Trying to stay optimistic.

11/13/2021

Day 2 with Jax, brought him to work for a check up. Pre med’d with gabapentin and tea of one to reduce anxiety, Well that just made everything worst with the testosterone. By 9:20 be had somehow broken out of his kennel, barked the whole time so bu 9:30 we added Aceptomazine by 3:30 we I mean my team and Dr could hand him for an exam and vaccines.
The good news he is heart worm, Lyme, anaplasma and erlichia negative. Got all vaccines updated and no one got hurt.
But wait…
Once home he warmed up to my husband is comfortable with my 16 year old, pays no mind to grandma but will lunge and try to attach my 9 year old.
Emotions are high time will tell. We can’t risk any injuries with in the family.
Working on slow introduction and leash walking. Car rides and to see if we can slowly introduce to a normal life.
As a rescue and a veterinary professional we see and handle all to many neglect and abused pets.
It is serious when an animal fears the world and everything in it!
We will make the efforts to do our best this guy. Hoping next step is a neuter to relieve that testosterone.

Wish us luck.

November is the start to giving. When people reach out to show that they care not only for people, but for animals too.
It’s been a slow growth year for us here at Forest Guardians Animal Rescue, Inc with the move from Florida to Massachusetts and all it legalities, I am proud to say I am now a legal non profit organization in this state. Able and ready to help.
I’d like to start my first holiday season by asking for donations. My first Annual OPERATION ELF
The goal is to raise money for emergencies and animal products that may be needed as we approach winter. The unexpected that could include:
Job displacement(unforeseen pet expenses)
Fire at your residence that leads to boarding and veterinary expenses
Power outages that last for days(boarding expenses)
Pet food drive
Blanket drive
Anything helps, and is always appreciated.

I would like everyone to check out my website if donating and also find my organization on Amazon.com and chewy.com.

As a start up Rescue I face many challenges on a daily basis. I am looking for help and or advice on the best places to look for grants, how to engage people in donating and most of all making a name for myself. I seem to be a little ahead of myself when it comes to planning and putting things in order. A mentor or mentors would be super helpful. My goals are to renevate and expand my living structure, get approved by the state to be able to transport with proper iso facility and rescue from kill shelters. But it is nearly impossible to do with funds. I have waisted time, been scammed and I know it’s just the beginning. I have most recently received my 501c3 charitable status and want to start utilizing its capabilities and start making a difference.

Over 11 years in the veterinary industry and I can’t even think! All the animal neglect, abuse and absolute cruelty I have witnessed over this time is estonishing! What makes people think it is ok? Why do people do such things? How where they raised? How where they treated to make them treat another life this way? How do they treat there own children? Do may questions! If I was not in this industry I think I’d like to study human phycology and behavior!

I want to thank Tonja Paine for her hard work at getting this done for me. Your Amazing!
