From Duane, Peyton's Daddy... On August 1st Peyton crossed the Rainbow Bridge 🌈🌉. He had an unknown and undiagnosed stomach mass that rapidly formed and was found via ultrasound. He was internally bleeding from this mass, went 5/6 on the anemic scale, which means he basically had no red blood cells feeding his organs, and his gums and tongue turned white. Lori and I were present when they put him in to sleep first and then humanely sent him to be with Peanut at the Rainbow Bridge as I held him. We are both so broken hearted and know he was loved by many. He went peacefully knowing we loved him so much and that he gave us the greatest 11 years of true love and many great stories about him. He was a legend! (First pic is the day we rescued him,,, Second pic is in April).
