We unfortunately suffered a fire in our building this morning.

We wanted to make sure we got word out to everyone who it will concern about the details at this point.

Number one, all animals and humans made it out safe. That is most important to us.

Number two, we will be down for a bit…but not out. Anyone with upcoming appointments will be personally called and given options, as we have multiple. We want to make sure our clients know that we are working tirelessly to bounce back.

We thank you for your patience in this time. A massive thank you to Hudson Fire Department for their quick response, we couldn’t ever thank them enough!

✨Same amazing pet care-new look!✨

Hello everyone! The new year is bringing many new fun, exciting changes for our pet community!

You have all come to know Heather and the incredible passion she provided your pets every single day for decades, you have also come to know her two wonderful daughters who have worked side by side her for many years.

Well, here’s the good news!

We-The Daughters-are following in her footsteps and have taken over the salons.

This will bring some changes. A new name, along with a new look but we will always promise to provide the best care for your pets that you have always received from our mom.

We can’t wait to see you all in the new year, as R&R Pets.

Cheers!
-Raquel & Rhyan

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION! PLEASE HELP THIS BIG GUY FIND A NEW HOME!
Goliath is a 2 year old Mastiff mix. This big boy has a red coat with a beautiful black saddle and a docked tail. His long droopy ears and snout make us think he may have some kind of hound in him. Regardless, he's a big lug with lots to offer to the right home. Just like his name, Goliath is a big boy, standing 30 inches tall and weighing in around 110 pounds. He was abandoned on our doorstep in March.
He loves playing with toys! Goliath will prance around with more durable toys in his mouth, showing off his kung fu skills. Goliath also enjoys hitting the pool and teaching snorkeling lessons. If you have a kiddie pool, he is sure to retrieve toys from the water, whether it sinks to the bottom or not. He has mastered Sit and Down. Using positive reinforcement, we have been helping him with his manners. He is basically an overgrown puppy. This big guy will benefit from an experienced dog owner, that has the time and energy to continue his training. The shelter is not a great place for Goliath, as he needs much more room to burn off energy and expand his knowledge. Goliath works for treats, so continuing his training will be easy in that regard.
Goliath would do best in a home without cats, as we believe he might chase them. This is something that he could possibly be taught not to do, but it will take some work. He may do okay with other dogs, but that will take time and patience to slowly work through. We suspect that he just hasn't been exposed properly to other dogs and isn't sure how to respond to them.
Goliath is sure to make you smile! This guy has been waiting for a new home for WAY too long. 6 months in the shelter is not ideal for any dog. If you have any interest in meeting Goliath, please call us or stop in to meet him.

This little survivor needs a family.

Little Minnow is a survivor and now a very playful kitten. Born with an upper respiratory virus and then a broken tail she is the only kitten in the litter to survive. Minnow would love a good furever home to play in. She is about 4 months old, has been spayed and has her rabies and distemper shots.

It's that time of year the gnats are leaving harmless red bits on our pets underbelly. No worries they normally don't bother your pet and will go away without intervention.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: 4/28/2021
Seeking information in the shooting of numerous cats:

Menomonie, WI: A $3,000 reward is being offered for any information leading to an arrest of the person or persons responsible for shooting at least 15 cats in rural Dunn County. The offense took place near the Dunnville bottoms in the southwest corner of the township of Spring Brook in Dunn County. 18 live cats and kittens were successfully rescued, and 15 deceased cats and kittens were recovered from the scene. It appears that someone abandoned these cats on the side of the road, next to a pile of cat food. Someone then shot and killed at least 15 of those abandoned cats and kittens. (Blurred photo due to graphic nature)

Wisconsin Statute 951.02 states: “No person may treat any animal, whether belonging to the person or another, in a cruel manner.” In this chapter, the definition for cruel means causing unnecessary and excessive pain or suffering or unjustifiable injury or death.

All inquiries and tips regarding this matter should be directed to the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office.

We would like to thank the Dunn County Sheriff’s Office for investigating this incident. # # #
