A great Pyrenees, named Scout, with fur pristine,

Working with dogs of all ages and personalities is an incredible experience. Each dog has their own unique character, which makes training sessions exciting. It's fulfilling to see them grow and learn new commands and abilities. Witnessing them conquer difficult behaviors is an indescribable feeling.

If you have a long-coated dog (pretty much all of the Poodle crosses/Doodles fall in this category), we strongly recommend having the coat trimmed down to approximately 1/2 inch in length (we call it the “Boot Camp Cut”) prior to beginning the course to help prevent matting because while at camp there will be many potential causes for matting. If your groomer can’t accommodate you before your pup arrives for camp we can schedule the service for you here. Routine brushing and bathing can also be scheduled during boot camp, however, an additional fees will apply. Allowing your dogs coat to become matted is very uncomfortable for them and can lead to skin infections that require veterinary treatment.
