Ditsy's cuties are 4 weeks old. They are all so sweet and friendly. Two bucks and two does. That solid blue buck on the left is growing out really nicely and is at an excellent weight for his age. The others aren't too far behind. I'll probably wait until 8 weeks old to decide who my keeper is...or at least narrow it down. Right now they are all too cute to pick a favorite.

I spy little bunny kicks! 👀 At least that's what I hope it is since Ditsy is due anytime, and this is the third time I've tried breeding her this season 🫣 She was bred to Kodiak the broken blue over at Grandma's farm and I cannot WAIT to see their first litter. I'm hoping for a keeper from them because she has the size I want and he has the type.

Babies hit their three week mark today. It's been the highlight of our day every day for the last three weeks to bring them in for handling. They are extra sweet and friendly. It was an even split between boys and girls. Boys on the left and girls on the right 🩵🩷

Today was nest box cleaning day. Thorn's kits are 9 days old and eyes are beginning to open. It's important that the kits have fresh, clean bedding to prevent illness such as conjunctivitis.

Big things happening around here. Razzle and Ditsy are patiently waiting for their litters due in just under 2 weeks. Both are early nesters and wanted their nest boxes to start prepping and pulling fur. They *should* both be pregnant, and they are acting like they are pregnant, but with this heat we will see if they were successful.

Kodiak left for Grandma's farm today. We got him set up in a nice new hutch with all sorts of goodies. I may still use him occasionally for a breeding, but everything is always better at Grandma's. 🥰

Lastly, Thorn's babies are a week old today and look like fat little hippos! She's doing a great job with them. I can't wait to start checking genders and getting weights. I'd like to keep one for my youngest to raise and take to show.

What a pleasant surprise this morning. Here I thought out of all my girls she wasn't pregnant, but she proved me wrong. This is Thorn's first litter, and her and the babies are doing great.
