Woke up to double trouble in my bed. Saylor is excited to see us & over joyed when Lily comes home off the bus. We like to meet Lily outside so all of her friends can see how much her puppy loves her.

Hazel has settled in wonderfully with the Abbott family. Shes a lucky girl to have such a wonderful family to spend the rest of her life with!

TRIXIE – TERRIER/HOUND MIX - Email [email protected] for more info and/or an application. Please DO NOT ask for info under the pictures…we probably won’t see it.

I went to the shelter and I happened to look down on the bottom tier of cages and there was this very sweet, very pregnant little dog that looked at me with her beautiful, needy eyes and she reached through the cage with her little paw as if to say “Please help me”. I knew that I couldn’t leave without her. A few days later she graced us with 7 adorable puppies. That girl was no other than our sweet & lovable Trixie. Trixie is very mild mannered and at 27 pounds, a perfect size. She seems to love everybody and is good with kids, other dogs and has been fine around my barn cats. Once she weaned her puppies, she tested positive for heartworms. This sweet girl raised her puppies…just completed her heartworm treatment and has been given a clean bill of health…now she’s ready for a great new life of her own! We think she is a Terrier (maybe Rat or Feist) and Hound mix and our Vet aged her at 5 years old. She has been spayed, 4DX heartworm tested, microchipped, f***l tested, current on all vaccines, wormed and is on heartworm and flea prevention. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Sorry no curls for us even though our Dad was a beautiful white purebred Standard Poodle. Our Mom was a smaller shorter haired Lab mix, so I guess we took after her as far as the hair goes. There were three pups with curly hair, but they found homes right after they were weaned. We are absolutely gorgeous though and we have a little scruffy hair around our muzzles and some waves in our coat. All of us are super friendly and we adore everyone that we meet…adults as well as kids. We’re pretty outgoing, fairly active and we love to play. We also love kids, get along great with other dogs and we really don’t know what to think about kitty cats…they sort of scare us lol. We are sure to bring a whole lot of fun to some lucky family. We are 6 months old (dob 6/12/24). We have been spayed/neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, f***l tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention.

Hazel has been adopted locally!

Hazel is a 4 1/2 month old catahoula mix that would love a family of her own for Christmas. She is a sweet girl that loves to play with the other fosters and loves people. Shes a smaller dog, weighing 25 lbs at 4.5 months old. She is fully vetted and ready for a family of her own. If you would like to adopt Hazel, email us at [email protected]

Hi Dawn,
Prince is doing great! Loves to cuddle - such joy! Such a kind soul. Today he goes for his vet check up and I’ll get him his insurance after that. He and Bandit, our mini Shanauzer, are best buddies!

Saylor is Amazing. And loves my daughter so much. She is warmed up to me as well so we can both take her for walks. She does so well in her crate. Met a few friends of ours and a dog friend. She did great. It’s day 4 and she is opened up.
