We stopped by the arena last night and it's all good to go! Entry booth is set up, pre-entries are all taken care of and back numbers assigned to those who needed them. Buckets are done for costume contest winners and buckles are ready to be handed out on Monday evening for our overall winners.

Pre-entries will remain open until 8am on the day of the show so if you decide last minute you can make it you're more than welcome to pre-enter and we'll be ready when you get there. If not we'll see you at the entry booth to finish your sign ups. https://forms.gle/DVqqQtQu4M723VWp7

If you want to practice/ride/wash horses etc the grounds (both arenas, round pen, wash racks, stalls, hookups etc) are open and available as part of the show starting Saturday 3pm. Feel free to haul in early and if you pay for a stall you're welcome to camp overnight. Electric is available or you can run your generators. Showers/bathrooms on site. We will not have concessions Saturday or early breakfast on Sunday, but other than that we will have a food truck most of the day Sunday.

The arena will be shut down first thing Sunday morning early to get a load of water delivered but will be open before and after for free riding.

Y'all!
Updated: over 35 people and 350 entries!
We have had over 21 people and 200 pre-entries completed for this weekend already! For anyone who needs a back number we will have them assigned to you and available for pickup when you come up and pay.

For those of you wanting to haul out early (or even just stop by if it's easier for you) Alyssa will be in the entry booth Saturday evening from 7-8 and will be available for people to go ahead and register and pay/pick up back numbers or add/scratch classes. Then Sunday morning you wouldn't even have to stop by the entry booth and can just get ready for the show.

We can't wait to see who all pre-enters yet and who comes the day of for entries. These fall shows were sure a great addition to the calendar this year!

We have awards done for the costume contest for Miniature, Peewee, Youth and Adult! Buckles are in and we'll have points done and calculated by Monday evening!

Anyone who thinks they might place top 2 of each division please be on the lookout for an email Sunday/Monday. We will present our awards on Monday night at 7pm at our year end 4H stall tear down and meal. If you're a winner and are not a member of our club you will get an email inviting you to attend. If you can't make it we will get your buckles to you ASAP.

We've also got our shows planned for next year and we will have those showbills posted here sometime Monday/Tuesday after our award/stall tear down.

See you all Sunday!

We're just a little over a week away from our last Open Show of the year! Pre-entries are making life so much easier on everyone. You can sign up to 3 horses on one form and enter your own back number if you have one. https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScg-oETCS59lo3g9tA7oX-A839BStN6TJrow5sgP-6zm5M58Q/viewform?usp=pp_url

If pre-entries aren't your thing you're still more than welcome to sign up the morning of the show (or the evening before) in the entry booth!

We're picking up awards for the costume contest tonight! We will have awards for 1st and 2nd place in all age divisions and miniature horse also!

Kim’s Chuck Wagon will be there with her delicious food this show!

One form per rider. Please be sure to use the correct horse's name for each show so points will total correctly. Please be sure if you're showing multiple horses to keep each horse's classes separated.

Pre-entries are open for the October 27th show! Please remember this is a Sunday show due to scheduling conflicts at the fairgrounds. And it starts at 9am EST not like the spring shows that started at 10am.

Please if there is any way you can pre-enter please do so. It makes the office run so much smoother on the morning of the show. If you're considering showing just go ahead and enter. It's way easier to scratch classes out than do a bunch of data entry day of the show.

COSTUME CONTEST!!!

Miniature Horses - we will add a class for you between the Walk Trot and Western Pleasure classes so you all have time after obstacle to get yourselves and horses ready.

Riders - we will add a 20ish min break between performance and contesting classes to switch tack from performance to your costumes. Please make them wearable/showable costumes to wear the rest of the day. We will judge each division before their respective barrel class (if you are only showing performance but would like to join in feel free to do so. Your costume doesn't have to be rideable if you aren't riding the remainder of the day)

One form per rider. Please be sure to use the correct horse's name for each show so points will total correctly. Please be sure if you're showing multiple horses to keep each horse's classes separated.

Just wanted to give a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who helped this past weekend! We pulled off a pretty great show with less volunteers than usual, spreadsheets that didn't play nice, and newbie announcers. Thank you for sticking with us.

THANK YOU FOR KEEPING OUR GROUNDS CLEAN. We had ZERO trash we had to clean up after everyone.

Here's your points so far! (Remember to be eligible for buckles you must show both shows...hopefully my spreadsheets will play nice and I'll be able to have running totals as the show goes on and we will be able to present awards same day)

Please let me know if you see anything that doesn't look correct and I will double check and update if needed.

EDIT: I had to update quite a few entries. I had them entered in the worksheet with the correct places but technology got the best of me for a bit there until I had the sheet set up completely correctly. The new ones below with the orange header should all be correct. THANK YOU for your patience. Every show we're updating and improving each step. These shows are getting bigger and better every time even if you can't see it from your end things are running much smoother (with less margin for human error each time)

10/05/2024

It's show day!

Entry booth will be open by 8 at the latest. We will open windows and announce when it's open so you can come up and verify entries and do same day entries.

Concessions will start at 9am with regular concession food (on a somewhat limited basis since we're only cooking for this show and the next one will have a FOOD TRUCK)

See you all soon! Please bear with us as we might have a somewhat limited staff since we had to move the show last minute due to weather and not everyone is able to make it.

Show will start promptly at 9 barring any major unforseen circumstances.

So sorry for the delay! Mini Obstacle below! I also included it on the original post so all patterns are together
