Well, this weekend was definitely one for the books! My wife normally doesn’t get to go with me to dog trials, but she got to go to one this weekend! We also got to carry our daughter to her first trial. We carried two of our Three Oaks dogs, Nellie and Stryker. Nellie had a great outing in brace 3 on field two, we killed six birds with our partner in 9 min and 41 seconds. We secured first place in that field. Then Stryker had the fifth brace in field one. We didn’t kill all six birds in that round, but we managed to get four out of six in 20 min. We should have had five birds, but I’m a lousy shot sometimes..it happens. Nellie advanced to the championship round against a gsp and an English pointer. Nellie and her partner, a German wirehair, managed to get all six birds in less than 15 min to secure the title of champions of the MidSouth quail forever trial of 2024. Thank you to Diamond Dog foods and Alpha Dog nutrition for keeping our dogs in great shape!!

Good Morning from Three Oaks Kennels!

We have some excited things in store for 2024. You are going to see some new pups coming into the works. We are working on getting some more pups into NAVHDA hunts and field trials.

We have planned litters for this spring/summer and can’t wait for puppy loving! Go ahead and contact me if you’ve been waiting on this post. We will begin accepting deposits for litters out of Lola & Callie.

We also are discussing starting to make some three oaks clothing such as hats and tee shirts this year!

We have to protect our family & that included our dogs 💗

Breeders have been stolen from & even murdered by potential puppy buyers.

Parvo and other diseases are a huge risk. We don't know where else you have shopped.

Moms don't want to share their newborn puppies with someone they have never met. Their hormones are raging they want space/quiet.

Lastly the safety of family pets sent here for training. Having to tell them their dog was stolen by a “visitor” would be devastating.

There is always the option to see puppies once they have had their first shots and have an immune system. You are never obligated to leave with a puppy if you don't like what you see.

This isn't a no you cannot visit. It is simply limiting WHO visits and when. Controlled visits for the health and safety of moms and puppies. We encourage everyone to pick up in person.
