DID YOU KNOW... Puppy socialization has a critical window of opportunity. It's most effective when started between 3 and 14 weeks of age.

*If you got a puppy recently, try not to overwhelm your little friend. Avoid large crowds of new people, noisy environments, being around new dogs and people all at once. Puppies that have not been acclimated to these situations can become overwhelmed and even shut down or become fearful and anxious.

During this short time period (3 to 14 weeks) they are more open to experiencing new things. It's vital to safely begin to introduce your puppy to things in life they will be experiencing as an adult. During these few weeks, it is much easier to build positive interactions with novelty. This will become more challenging as they become adults. It is natural for safety reasons to become weary of unfamiliar people, places and things...because in the wild, you could become something's next meal!

My name is Nicole and I am passionate about training dogs and empowering people. I never knew I would wake up every morning and be so excited to start my day working with you and your furry friend(s). I am truly fascinated with the developing science behind how dogs learn and how we can utilize that information to enrich our relationships with our canine friends. It is amazing how much training has evolved in just the last 20 years. I am here to make it a fun and positive experience for both you and your best friend. I specialize in family dog training and can work on everything from early puppy socialization/potty training, beginner through advanced obedience, behavior modification, CGC Certification and Therapy Dog Training. I work with all breeds, sizes and ages.
