Kuro no Okoku

Three ladies (two dogs and a cat) form the Kuro no Okoku, which means: Kingdom of Black. Meet Zakuro, the oldest in the Kingdom at 8 years old. A mutt of unknown origins, found by the side of the road. She enjoys getting treats, napping on the couch, treats, playing in the snow, and eating. Then there's Yomi, a rescue pit bull adopted from MARF who's high-strung but full of love. She enjoys playin

g with squeaky toys, irritating her dog sibling, licking faces, long walks, and general rough housing. The crowning jewel of the Kingdom is Jizo Fairlight, the cat. This beautiful lady was just recently adopted from AFK Cat Rescue, but has made herself at home. She enjoys playing with Yomi, laying around, eating, meeting new people, and feathers. All the Kuro no Okoku love being cute, fighting for animal rescue in Alabama, and breaking the black pet stigma!
