Mark your calendars! On Saturday, September 20th from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM, join us at the Limestone County Sheriff’s Arena (18118 AL Highway 99, Athens, AL 35614) for a special Free Vaccine & Microchip Clinic.

We’re Honored to Announce a Grant from
The Grey Muzzle Organization

We’re thrilled to share that Luna Farms Rescue has been awarded a grant from The Grey Muzzle Organization to help save more senior dogs from rural shelters across the Southeast through our Encore Pups program.

This generous funding will provide the critical medical care that older dogs often need to safely leave the shelter and thrive in loving homes. From diagnostics and dental work to arthritis management and seizure medication, this support helps ensure that age is never a barrier to finding a family.

And this post wouldn’t be complete without introducing Pearl, an 11-year-old senior who is one of our very first Encore Pups! Pearl has seizures. Thanks to this grant, Pearl is receiving the care she needs to live her golden years surrounded by love and comfort.

To The Grey Muzzle Organization: thank you for seeing the beauty in age and for helping us give dogs like Pearl the encore they deserve.
