United Community Bank's Huntsville branch wanted to partner with a local organization to help bring in donations for an early World Animal Day. We are so thankful that one of their employees recommended Luna Farms Rescue! 🐾

They dropped off this generous donation of supplies to the farm this afternoon, and Lottie was our official welcoming committee! She was so excited to check everything out and even showed off her perfect “park” and “sit” skills. 🐕

It means the world to us when local businesses step up to support rescue work. These donations go directly to the dogs in our care—helping us provide food, comfort, enrichment, and all the essentials that make healing possible.

Update on our sick parvo babies- these three are doing well and will be cleared to travel to their new homes on July 11th!

These puppies have been through so much, but they never stopped fighting. They wre lucky to have the help of emergency meds, fluids, and an incredible foster family behind them. They are finally up and playing, running around, and acting like puppies again.

We recently rescued a litter of 7 puppies from the shelter. They were finally safe, warm, and in a loving foster home. But one of our worst fears has come true and they tested positive for parvo. 🐾

Parvo is deadly without immediate treatment, and it’s expensive to fight. These babies are fighting and we’re doing everything we can to save them. Unfortunately, we have already lost three puppies. Nimbus, Mia, Marlon, and Annie are not out of the woods yet.💔

This work is heavy. It’s late-night drives for the only 4 vials of lifesaving antibodies we could find. It’s giving fluids on kitchen floors. It’s disinfecting every surface, separating the really sick ones, praying over puppies, and grieving the ones we couldn’t save.

What better way to welcome the first day of summer (on Friday) than with 12 rescue dogs heading north to find their forever families?🌞

From the hot Southern days to cooler Northern homes, these pups are ready for their second chances! One lucky pup left for Golden Huggs Rescue Thursday evening, and 11 more hopped on Hood's Pet Express LLC Friday morning.

🌟 It’s Amazing What a Rescue Dog Can Do 🌟

Meet Phoenix—a once-overlooked pit mix who proves that every rescue dog holds a world of untapped potential. 💥

We worked alongside our friends at Huntsville Animal Services to make sure Phoenix had the chance he deserved. With the help of our northern rescue partner, he found the perfect adopter—someone who saw his spark and believed in his future. 🔥

Fast forward to today, and Phoenix isn’t just thriving—he’s winning.

This boy has gone from shelter run to top dog, and he’s just getting started.

We had another busy transport week! So many dogs hit the road for their freedom ride up north.

Just a short time ago, some of these dogs were picked up from the shelter. Some were living outside with NO shelter. Now, thanks to our volunteers, they’re headed toward forever homes.

It takes a village to make this happen:
📋 Countless hours of paperwork
💉 Vaccines and health certificates
🚗 Volunteers driving all over town to meet timelines
📞 Coordinating with shelters, fosters, and receiving rescues

It can be exhausting, but so full of hope. The exhaustion is always worth it. These dogs matter. Their stories matter. And because of our amazing families who say YES to fostering, they will all know safety and love.🧡
