Kittens
We have someone taking 3 to 4 kittens tomorrow. This is Momma and her babies that was across the street at Kwikfill On S. 2nd St. in Clearfield by looking at the pictures I took today there may be two more kittens there. I do have traps set with cameras. Hopefully we get them tonight. I need somebody if they can please take the remainder Kittens and Momma as we cannot take any more into Animals Matter, I will personally help with vetting. We were getting a lot of complaints that they were running out on the road and almost getting hit. We also have to check on mama and babies across the river from there tomorrow. Not sure where we’re going to put all these kittens but we definitely cannot take them in so we’re trying to place them wherever we can. We do have another girl saying she can help with a couple so please let us know if anyone can help I have to have them placed tomorrow.

This little sh*t is smart. We moved trap closer to her and we went to sheetz and came back and if you look closely she’s legit in the front of the trap laying 🤦♀️

Update we found the owner and was talking to her in her driveway and the pup came running home 🥰🐾

We were contacted by VCA Metzger animal Hospital today by one of their veterinarians this dog was brought in today as it was accidentally ran over by a car and please no negative comments the owners cannot afford the surgery that their dog needs for a broken jaw we were quoted $3500-$4500 and we still owe Metzgers 6000. As we are still doing bandage changes on the Husky at 600 a week our account is super low as we just paid Metzger $24,000 in the last three weeks, if this dog does not get into rescue anywhere which I have reached out to multiple and they are unable to take this sweet one and a half-year-old dog and so that leaves us to save this dogs life. The veterinarian does not want to euthanize they are treating, the dog inpatient right now and the owners are giving them 24 hours to find Rescue or they will go tomorrow euthanize their dog. She is so sweet and only weighs about 35 pounds. She’s a small pitbull. Can we do this together and save this dog together because I know I said we were done taking anything in, but I would hate to see this dog lose its life, does everybody think you can donate and help us save this dog? This pup does not deserve to lose its life.😭😭😭😭😭 but we cannot take on a bill like this and still pay 6000 which we owe that regardless that’ll take our account down to basically nothing.

Today we were contacted about an elderly couple that was camping at the Lauder campground in Frenchville. They just nearly adopted a dog from a breeder, and the dog just recently had one puppy that passed away we were told this dog was very skittish, and basically came from like a puppy mill so we knew this was gonna be a challenge, when we arrived, the dog was actually running up the road so we stopped immediately got the trap out and set it and walked away. The dog proceeded to run the other direction into the woods. We then went down the road and figure we would at least try to get her one time, Shawn pushed her out of the woods to me. She came within 5 feet of me and then bolted you could tell she wanted to go to somebody. She was just scared so she continued to run that direction behind a camp and disappeared into the wood line so we set the trap and camera up at the end of the driveway and drove up the road, we spotted her in an open field by a garage. We sat there for a while and she never came back through so we decided to take another drive up the road to see if she went further if she was still heading back towards camp when Shawn noticed her resting in an open field, so we decided to put the trap in the middle of the field and play newborn puppy sounds on our phones that really got her attention so after moving the trap around for a while, she was actually following Shawn but would not go to him so he put his phone in the back of the trap. We covered the trap and walked away with the puppy sounds playing, within 10 minutes she went into the trap. Our heart broke that she thought she was going in there to find her puppy to find out. There was nothing in there, but that was the only way that we were getting the dog into a trap today. It was a very happy ending, and Missy is back home with her owners, great job Shawn and thanks for coming to help today 🥰🐾🥰🐾
We got a phone call today about some ducklings in a drain. Thank you to Clearfield Borough fire department number 1 yet again getting them safe. Animal Control and I started the search for Momma and we found her as soon as she heard her babies she immediately flew out of that river and up over embankment calling for them and this was the outcome. So precious.

The doctor called us with an update on Nala. They gave her the steroid injection this morning. It did not make any differenceat all if anything it made her breathing worse she was working more harder to breathe and faster. I asked the doctor if we continue the steroid injections for another 24 hours if she thought it would make a difference, and she said absolutely not that if the steroids was even gonna work a little bit, she would’ve seen a difference in the last five hours after the injection, and like she said, if anything, Nala got worse! between me and the doctor, we made the best decision for her just to let her go and end her suffering. Rest, easy baby girl we tried our best to save you. We are not sure what even happened to you or what was wrong. All her x-ray was showing a contusion on the lung. I wish there was more that we could do to save her, but they’re just wasn’t. Our hearts are broken 😭😭

The vet called about Nala there's absolutely no change at all so I decided to euthanize and then the more I was thinking about it they have not put her on a steroid yet, so I told them to try a steroid to see if that helps her lungs calm down we're gonna give her until 1 o'clock and if she doesn't come around with the steroid, we're gonna have to euthanize. I’m hoping the steroid helps her. If this doesn’t help we will be letting Nala go and know that we did everything we could 😭 prayers sweet girl you can do this 🙏🙏 the oxygen tank is very expensive we have raised $445.00 the bill is gonna be over $2,000 please continue to share 🙏🙏

This is momma and her ducklings that we rescued from the drain. We knew momma and babies were not safe across town living in a window seal at a bar so we gathered momma up gave her babies back to her and took them to the river! Momma was so happy
