It's that time to all our amazing pups! We are pairing up with Club Apple for their next Splash Event! We have TONS of local shop donating items for the raffle donations. All proceeds will be donated to our local shelters! Snake River Animal Shelter, Idaho Falls Animal Shelter, and the Upper Valley Animal Shelter. Be prepaired for a splashing great time! We will have adoptable dogs there for everyone to meet and love on. We sure would love to help place some of these amazing animals!

Hey guys, we have a 3 year old Goldendoodle named Bruno who is looking for a new home. If anyone is interested, please reach out and let us know! He is good with kids and other dogs and is looking for a soft landing to call home.

Unfortunately the tear down and rebuild of our front steps and ramp are taking longer than promised. We are closed today while they finish the tear down. We will be open tomorrow with access to our back door available or curbside service for those who need it. If you have an immediate need call 208-403-4230 and I'll meet you at the store.

Welcome to A Cut Aboves bittersweet weekend symphony. It is with the greatest joy and sadest of hearts we are sending Izzy off to college this weekend. We all have grown to love him as much as family and the grooming salon will forever miss him. Congrats Izzy Mann and thank you for being the amazing young man you are! We can not wait to see you flourish!

All of our clients will sure miss you offering to take their dogs home with you!

Our Story

Kirsten Butcher & Hope Easley. A Cut Above, the Falls. We strive for the wellness and love of all things dog. Kirsten is a Mastery Certified Pet Stylist of 14 years and continues to excel in her certification programs as well as AKC Showmanship Standards. She studied under a AKC shower/breeder for 6 years and obtained certifications in Animal Psychology, Nutrition as well as Animal Behavior.

Hope has been Kirsten’s understudy for 4 years now; grooming for 5 years and is following in line with her Certified Salon Professional certifications and then will go onto her Mastery Certifications as well.

We aim to treat all the dogs of Idaho Falls as if they were our own. We make a point to have a very clean and calm environment for all of our fur covered friends and offer a small retail section for your convenience. We do offer a couple of different discount programs if you would like to inquire about them you can reach of via call or text at 208-403-4230.
