K-9 Collar Club Starting Feb 24, I will be holding Puppy Social Hour 🐶🐕🦮🐕‍🦺 at 9:00 am each week for one hour. This time is for young puppies who are 6 months or less and still in the Socialization Period. They will meet puppies, meet people, and be introduced to novel things to set them up to be confident adults. The cost is $20, including tax and your puppy can come as often or as few times as you wish.

We will have our very own table at the “Pucks for Paws” Comets game on March 27th! Stop by to say hello to us or to get some information! Science of Sit LLC will also be there with us incase you have any dog training needs! That being said, we will be closing at 3pm on March 27th in order to make it on time to the game. Want to participate in AKC sports or have your dog earn their S.T A.R. Puppy or Canine Good Citizen? But no AKC papers or mixed breed status holding you back? Do not be discouraged 😫.
The AKC allows purebreds without AKC papers to register with their Purebred Alternative Listing service 🐩
Mixed breeds can register with the AKC Canine Partners listing service. 🐕Unfortunately, this is where all our oodles of doodles must register.
I can handle the registration process for you. The $35 fee is what the AKC charges for this listing.

K-9 Collar Club AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class will be starting January 24 🗓 This class focuses on Socialization, Training, Activity, and Responsible puppy ownership. Puppies less than one year may participate.
This class is a great idea for owners who are looking for eventual Therapy Dog certification 🦮. S T.A.R. Puppy is an important first step toward Canine Good Citizen certification, which is required by most Therapy Dog certifying organizations.
Although this is an AKC class, your puppy does not need AKC papers or to be purebred to participate.

Exciting news🥳. I have received certification from the AKC to teach, evaluate, and certify dogs for all levels of the AKC Canine Good Citizen program and S.T.A.R. Puppy 🥇.
This means there will be opportunities to take these classes and earn these titles coming up this winter❄️!
Dogs do not have to be purebred or have AKC papers to take these classes or be certified. Like Josie, pictured below, who trained for Canine Good Citizen during COVID times, any type of dog is welcome 🙂. K-9 Collar Club

Is your dog a member of K-9 Collar Club ? I will now be offering dog training during their time at daycare 🐩. Training sessions can be held: Mondays 8:00 - 1:00
Tuesdays: 11:00 - 5:00
Wednesdays: 8:00 - 4:00
Fridays: 8:00 - 4:00
The training will consist of two 10 minute sessions during their time at daycare that day for $25 including tax. Breaking the training up will help the dogs keep focused 🐕. The sessions will work on basic cues and manners only.
Since these sessions will occur during daycare, you will not be present. However, I will write or send you a progress report 📃 on how your dog did during their training that day. You may schedule sessions for me to come to your house 🏠 to show you what I have been working on with your dog as well.
All dog training must be scheduled 📅with me and will go through Science of Sit LLC business software. You may call me at 315- 666-4215 to schedule training or speak with me at K9 Collar Club during the above mentioned hours.

This is Sully. I trained him for certification as a therapy dog through Therapy Dogs International 🏅. He was an 8 year old rescue dog when I trained him. Dogs don't always have to be young or purebred to trained to do a job. Temperament and inclination goes a long way though.

Marsala Bono Dogs who regularly ( at least once a week🗓) come to K9 Collar Club for daycare, receive 10% off of training services. Their owners also receive 10% off of either Puppy or Beginner classes for new additions 🐶 to their family.

Group classes for older puppies (over 6 months) and adult dogs 🐕‍🦺 will begin the week after puppy classes start. These classes will start on 9/30 and be held each Saturday after that for six more weeks (10/7, 10/14, 10/21, 10/28, 11/4, and 11/11). It will start at 3:30 PM and run for an hour approximately. This class is for dogs and puppies who have not had training yet, or need to brush up on their skills 🧠. Hello, my name is Annette. This is my dog, Baby Cupcake. As you can see, she is not a fan of photos 🙂. I have lived and worked with animals all of my life. After working for years in rescues and pet retail, I decided to return to school to study animal behavior and training. I graduated with a Bachelor in Canine Training and Management from SUNY Cobleskill in 2022. I started Science of Sit LLC to help pet parents and pets live happy lives. I offer in home training sessions for dogs 🐕 and cats 🐈. I also offer dog walking and enrichment sessions for dogs and cats. Group classes are coming very soon.
