Please be aware, with inclement weather in the forecast I may have to reschedule some appointment days or wiggle the schedule around so I can get to clients that have had to be rescheduled already. When temperatures are in the low 20s, there is no way to keep the van warm enough to keep my water from freezing. When temperatures reach the "teens" or below the water freezes in my hose from the spigot to my van, keeping me from even filling the water tank. Add ice on the roads to that and February always seems to be a logistical nightmare.
Since the forecast seems to change day by day, I will revaluate the schedule for each day and call or text you either the night before your appointment or the morning of your appointment should rescheduling be needed. I do apologize for any inconvenience, the best laid plans of mice and men can be one thing, while mother nature has something completely different in mind.

It always seems like when everything is going great, it all comes crashing down. The Ole dog van decided that it should start leaking oil from places where there should be no oil, so we are going to be down for a little while. We'll keep you all posted on any development as soon as they come in and would like to apologize for any inconvenience.

This goes for short-haired dogs as well. The red areas shed the most, yellow areas next, then green. Brushing your dog between grooming visits doesn't just make the grooming process easier, it releases endorphins in your dog and be a great bonding time.

I would like to thank SEK Delta Waterfowl for asking me to participate as one of their businesses to help further their cause! They are a non-profit wildlife conservation organization that not only raises funds and works for wildlife conservation efforts in the Prairie Pothole region, but also right here in our area as well. Their annual banquet is tonight at the 4H buildings in Independence. Door open at 5:00 and dinner is at 7:00. Be sure to come have a great time and check it out. I have donated a free groom as well as some of my original artwork (just a silly hobby of mine). I hope to see you there!!

After a very tough two weeks of my generator deciding whether it was going to be a good day or a bad day it has finally decided that it's going to be a bad day. I have replaced several parts on it already, but it has decided it still doesn't like me, so it goes into the professionals on Monday. Please pray for us, cross your fingers, light a candle, burn some incense, or any other thing you could possibly think of to send some quick fix help to the cosmos so we can get back on track with helping your furbabies stay clean and cool in this hot weather.
