I am SO excited to announce that going forward, Scout & Friends will be sourcing a majority of fabrics from a LOCAL deisgn studio right here in Kansas City! I think it is so important to support local and shop small and I hope you all love the designs I choose this year!

Hi Friends, I know it’s been awhile since I have posted here on Scout & Friends. And to be honest, I’ve had a very difficult end of the year. Many of you may have seen on my personal page that my precious cat Scout, whom I named this very business after, died very very suddenly at the beginning of this month. My heart has been shattered in a million pieces since his passing and I’m learning how to move on without him. Scout lives on through this business and I am looking forward to a fresh new year. Stay with me, friends, 2024 is shaping up to be my best year yet. Cheers to a new year, and cheers to my best pal, Scout. 🍾🐾

Hi Friends! I am excited to announce that I am heading backstage again for one night only! I will be helping with wigs for the Lied Center stop of the 50th Anniversary tour of Jesus Christ Superstar! 🙏✝️ They will be at the Lied Center in Lawrence this Saturday! Sheesh I think I broke my record time for setting up! Got out to site, set up, and got home in 1 hour! I’m in my same exact spot at last year, right at the entrance across from the koi pond. The weather is PERFECT 🥰🥰

I’m all set up at the Aspiria Campus for Rescue K 9-11’s Great “Pupkin” Fest and 5k! Race starts at 10 and the Pupkin Fest kicks off right after the race until 5pm! Did I mention there’s PUPPIES?! 😱😱 this weekend and take home a new lifetime companion 🥰

Both Collars and Leashes are reinforced with a heavy-duty nylon strap and heavy duty-thread making them extremely durable if your furbaby is rough and pulls. Have I ever mentioned that they are also machine washable?! 😱
