Our Great Bernese

Violet does a great job patrolling our alpaca farm and loving people unconditionally! Hello I am the proud owner of not one Great Pyrenees/Bernese Mountain dog mix puppy but two! We raise alpacas on a small 5 acre farm in North Carolina called Healing Hearts Alpacas. We were looking for not any normal Livestock Guardian Dog but one that would be more social and family orientated but also Patrol ou

r land and keep fox,deer,raccoons,possum,coyotes,bobcats out! Hence why we choose a designer breed, not only for their beauty,looks and size but for being smart, loyal and gentle. So we start our new journey as “Safety Patrol Dog” parents....I created this title to be SPD's NOT LGD's. Watch our puppies Daisy and Violet grow up on our small Southern Farm. Update : We are sad to announce that Daisy age 6 was laid to rest in 2022 from the tick born Lyme disease she contracted two years prior. It came back and crippled her hind legs. She was our heart here on the farm and miss her dearly.
