Transformation Tuesday!
Look at Calvin!
We took him in Dec 23rd. He was missing most of his top fin, had no color, terrible fin rot and stress striping! Fast forward to now and this guy is zooming around his 5gallon tank, has BEAUTIFUL colors and is even making bubble nests! Can’t wait till those fins grow in more!
Look at Comets Transformation so far! His fins are growing in beautifully from his fin rot. I can’t wait to see what he looks like in the next month! He will be available for adoption soon so reach out if you are interested!
This is Blaze! He has been in this cup since Feb 29th. His color is ok but his fins are very split and torn. He is a crown tail so his fins should come to multiple points (like on a crown) but they should not be split
Jason is hard to photograph because he is always on the go! Here is a video of him doing some gish zoomies!
Horton is doing amazing and still available for adoption! He’s a very social fish who LOVES his frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms!!!!! Just look at those fins!!!!!
Look how wonderful Horton (the elephant ear betta) is doing! His name is courtesy of “Horton Hears a Who.”Horton’s color is a beautiful red and white and he is getting stronger by the day! He will soon be looking for a new home so if you are interested let let us know!
Also his tank is colored from the tannins we add, which are basically like vitamins for fish!
Brought this guy home today. He’s in bad shape with very faded color, holes in his fins, clamped fins with signs of fin rot and he is super thin! He is an Elephant Betta as indicated by his very large white pectoral fins(think arms) that resemble the ears or an elephant.
No name yet but open to suggestions!
Meet Elliott. He is a dragon scale betta. If you look closely at his eyes, you will see that look cloudy.
He had what they call diamond eye. It does effect their vision.
As long as he is in a stable environment, he can move around fine!
It really is amazing what a difference proper care makes in such a short time! Meet Pascal!
The first video is the day I brought him home, struggling to swim and struggling to breath. The last video is today living his best life happily swimming!
