This is a paid means to support me in exchange for over half a decade of knowledge gained working in a quarter dozen different corporate scale fish stores and much more as a hobbyist.

If you're interested in long form content in writing/multimedia regarding freshwater keeping please consider subscribing or at least commenting to show interest before I commit to producing these materials.

I hope to go over everything from water chemistry, aquatic plants to monster fish keeping in the next two weeks if the interest is there, and I'm sure we'll get into tadpoles and frogs too!

They spent months studying her injuries, scanning her skull, designing prototypes, and testing materials that were light enough for flight yet strong enough for daily use, until the final 3D-printed beak was ready. With careful precision, they attached it—and in a room holding its collective breath, Beauty reached down, gripped a piece of food, and fed herself for the first time since the gunshot. Over the following months, her natural beak began to regrow beneath the prosthetic, showing that the device had not only restored her function but allowed her body to heal. Beauty became the first bald eagle in history to receive a fully functional, 3D-printed beak, a powerful testament to how compassion and innovation can rebuild even the most broken lives—and a reminder that if one eagle can inspire such devotion, imagine what could happen if we applied the same determination to every living being.

Like y’all. Look at the character of this man!
They shorted me on tip money just because I refused to keep working there.

I’m not saying this for my health. I’m saying this because it’s a real problem in our pet scene and our community here in Indy.

Would you wanna shop at a store where the owner takes time to personally attack you on your private profiles just because you gave your opinion?

We can do so much better. So much better.

Friendly reminder that Fish Happens Indy, owned by Tyler Rutledge and crew is a pe*****le.
He is over 30 years old, with two young daughters, and more than a half dozen of his former coworkers saw him with a 16 year old girl he boasted about dating.

Since Aquarium Co-op, decided to partner with them and block us for bringing their local credibility to their attention, I am deeply disturbed and equally disappointed.

I’ve been a fan of aquarium coop longer than Tyler has been keeping fish. I bred Angel fish using master breeder deans methodology, but now, I could not be more disappointed by my local fish scene and major aquatics players in the United States such as aquarium coop. Im sick of seeing companies I admire choose profits over decency.

All of this before they shorted wage and tip money to me as their first employee as the environment was one of the most unhealthy workplaces I’ve ever experienced.
