Sweet Willow just checked in at Nine Lives Cat Café this weekend. She was initially overwhelmed, but has settled in pretty well. She loves pets & cuddling, and would be a purrfect companion as the weather gets cooler.

☆Aerobics aren't just for GenXers! Get that heart rate up & look fashionable while you do it!
☆Lift weights to build strength.
☆Find a sport you enjoy. I chose boxing because I'm always trying to beat my brother Marvel to the food bowl. 😹
☆Eat a healthy diet. Seriously, this one is the worst. Why can't I just have all the foods I want? 🍕🍗🍔

Pepper is down a pound from her heaviest & already seems to be feeling better. She is following a vet-recommended diet, and her weight is monitored weekly to ensure she doesn't drop it too quickly.

🚨New Foster Alert🚨

Miss Janey Lane has been with us for about 3 weeks now. She had some skin issues & needed spayed. Her last vet visit revealed her skin is almost completely healed & she's recovering well after her spay surgery. Yay! 🎉 Janey is nearly ready for her furever home & she couldn't be more excited! (Yes, she is in a bathroom. 🚽 She's being kept here to limit her movement since she's been spayed.)

Starling aka Pepper and Talon aka Marvel were recently returned to ARPO when their owner passed, so they've known their names as Pepper & Marvel for the last 9 years. Affectionately dubbed the ✨️Super Chonks✨️, this dynamic duo is a bonded brother/sister pair who run for cuddles instead of fighting crime. While both enjoy snuggles & pets, Marvel loves watching birdies out the window, while Pepper enjoys airing out her belly. Bonus - neither of their bellies is a trap! These two cuddlebugs are looking for a home that is committed to helping them to maintain a healthy weight, as they both tend to overeat if free-fed. Captain Thor is settling in nicely at his new home. He met his brother Ripley just a few days after arriving & they're slowly getting to know each other. His new mom shared that he is fascinated with the shower & is afraid of pillows. 😹 Enjoy your retirement years, beautiful boi! 💗
