🐔 Yesterday I needed chicken feed so I grabbed a friend to go with me to Westfield’s Tractor Supply Co.

I knew what I wanted for lunch and while he did offer to pay at the register (you can next time,) I was so happy using my Raising Canes’ gift card!! The food was just as I remembered it 16 years ago in Louisiana! 🐊 ⚜️ 💜💛💚

I met the best managers (cute white guy with dark hair) forced me to look up from my phone (which I am NEVER on but needed to try and download their app) when he said “Thank you for your service!” when he had applied my military discount for the sweet cashier!

CRYSTAL!! Beautiful queen was so kind! An amazing manager!! Had no issues when I had forgot to mention I wanted one Honey Mustard and one Cane’s sauce each! Y’all! I didn’t know which one I liked more so I dipped them in… BOTH!!

Everything was perfection! LITERALLY!

I found my new eating joint. The food is made H.O.T. 🔥 to order!

I miss my Louisiana roots! 🥹 How did I get sad all of a sudden?!

I miss my best friends (twins) Tif and Mel from college and all the fun (someone will probably always hv a story about me ever since I was born!)🤭🤭🤭

Thanks to Big Brother Big Sisters of Central Indiana for the gift card!! I FINALLY used it!!

I HAFTA record myself talking to my chickens on their camera!! They ran over when they heard my voice (yeah… they’re spoiled, nothing new there!)

AI (one of my Easter Eggers) sounds like a CAT! 🐈 She whines!

And they told Momma that they love ❤️ her when she asked them!! (I tried not to laugh!) 🤭

YAAAAY! I saw my first pumpkin blossoms today!

I think I was recovering from Saturday night’s dancing so didn’t notice it on Sunday!! (You can tell the one on the left is yesterday’s blossom!

And I found another pumpkin seedling growing today while I was mowing the grass!! The squirrels are RELENTLESS when getting their snack on! ! 🌻

Are you growing anything that the animals just LOVE??

Y’all think I’m just a chicken mama, a beekeeper and a farmer? 👩🏾‍🌾 NOPE!! I also make gift baskets!

Sarahi got a college gift basket for Ball State University in her fave color… SAGE! I love green too!! So it brought me joy to make this for her!!

She got a pillow to rest her head after a loooong day of classes, some Kleenex, cleaning 🧽 products like sponges, Dawn dish soap, and the college staple of 🍜 ramen noodles!!

And I secretly 🤫 learned her favorite color from her mom and got her hand towels, wash cloths, and bath towel in sage green!
