Who remembers Miss Opal ?! Well she is back at our rabbitry and I cannot be more excited ! I sadly lost her mom Jane unexpectedly earlier this year so I am so thrilled to have Opal back so we can continue Janes lines. She is on the larger size making her a great brood doe, but she is so stunning and so sweet!

Cookies sweet babies ! She had one lightly marked black orange harlequin and 5 fox babies! She is a pro at pulling fur so I never worry for her babies even in their cold weather !

I need color help ! Can’t decide if this little bun is smutty orange or blue fox 🦊 from Opie x Cookie. Two siblings are chestnuts so mom must be agouti based harlequin. But it doesn’t look orange to me.

Our Rue girl ❤️ she is a VM Chocolate Holland Lop Doe. She is originally from Furry at Heart Farm which is where Opie came from. When I was first inquiring about her from her seller (not Furry at Heart Farm) I wasn’t even aware she comes from the same farm so I was pleasantly surprised when I received her pedigree ❤️ Hoping to get some cute babies from her soon!

Our little cookie 🍪 She is a Harlequin holland lop with brown eyes. She just turned 6 months old and we bred her to our buck Opie! Hopefully will be having babies in about 3 weeks from her if she took !

So much has happened ! It’s been a crazy week dropping off bunnies with their new homes, picking up new additions to our herd. We had a few rainy days/ sick days but I am now ready to introduce to you our herd buck ! Furry at Heart farm Optimus Prime! He is a tiny little guy with the cutest little ears! He is a VM blue holland lop and we are so excited to have him ! My son was long awaiting him when he heard his name 😂

Ms. Pearl is still looking for a pet home and every picture I take of her makes me wish I had more room to keep her !

So this week has been a hard one. I discovered two of my kits from Pearls and Sunny’s litter have malocclusion which is when the teeth are not aligned and and do not wear down properly. After doing a ton of research and talking to experienced breeders I have come to the conclusion I can no longer breed Pearl or Sunny because although they are completely fine they carry the genes that can cause future litters to have it as well. I will be rehoming Sunny and Pearl to loving pet homes and taking time off from breeding to find some quality buns for my breeding program. This situation was very stressful but also very educational and I am thankful I had this opportunity to learn this hard lesson so I can bring quality bunnies to you all !
