We have a lot of people ask us about our prison program. We are proud to share the first of what will be a few video's giving people an idea of what happens in our program! We think it's super important for people to know the work that we are doing, both for the animals and the people! We hope that you will consider adopting from us when you are looking for a pup! We are down to our last two Chihuahua/terrier mixes! One male and one female! Somebody sn**ch these cuties up before I fall more in love with them! These guys are the perfect mix of loving to snuggle and some great puppy antics! Their Mom, Violet is also up for adoption. She is pictured here. We are pretty confident Dad is a chihuahua based on the pups. Lets get these cuties into their forever homes!!!!

Hey guys! We are finally settling into a routine schedule for our adoption events! We hope to add more to the schedule, but we can't until we grow our volunteer base to help us with these.

What does volunteering at an adoption event mean? We need to arrive at the location 30 minutes prior (10:30) and help set up. Xpens, blankets to cover the ground, toys to play with, puppies to come in. All this needs to happen by 11. And then comes the pups! We need to answer questions, keep the adoption area clean (read, p**p free!) and really show the people how much fun our pups are! Over time, some volunteers may want to learn a little about our training to show off our bigger dogs, but that's bonus. Mostly playing with pups and talking with people about them. And then comes the tear down at the end and packing everything up.

Ultimately, it would be amazing to have someone help me bring all the gear, because my vehicle is pushing it's limits on how much stuff/puppies we have, but that's less important right now! Its a great thing to do to help these guys get adopted, and the more volunteers we have, the easier it is! Not to mention, the more volunteers we have the more pups we can bring. While we are looking for a few crazy souls who may want to come each week, we love it if people could commit to one in their favorite area!

Hey guys! Remember Cee Cee, the little pup that we took in while waiting in the vet's office last week? Well, she stayed at the hospital for two days and then was released to us. Unfortunately, we continued to struggle with her eating and felt that there was more going on. Today she went back to the vet and it was determined that she had a likely blockage and needed surgery! How could we deny this sweet little one? But the estimated cost is $2500 (at the low estimate). Can you help us out? We weren't quite prepared for this, but felt strongly that this little one needed this chance.

These cuties will be available at our adoption event on Sunday from 11-2 at Gold Country Pet Resort’s Dock Diving Event on Sunday from 11-2. See some cool dogs doing their thing on the dock and cuddle with puppies…does it get any better than this? If you want to meet one of our dogs from the prison, contact us asap and we will grab them on Sunday morning!

The day that keeps going! We have been at (beyond) max capacity as is pretty much every shelter and Rescue so we wanted to focus on adoptions.

The best laid plans….Meet Delilah! With no one else available we couldn’t turn this sweet mama-to-be away. She is now safe to have her babies! She will be looking for her forever home once she’s done raising her littles! She is one sweet grateful Momma. 🥰

Welcome CeeCee. This morning did not go as planned. We were taking a litter into the vet for spay/neuters. While we were there a young man walked in carrying CeeCee in a satchel/body wrap. He obviously loved her. He explained to the receptionist that his puppy vomited, wouldn’t eat and is very lethargic. He was walking to the shelter but stopped in there to find help. He explained that he was transient and couldn’t care for her. They explained that they have several rescues they work with. So, CeeCee is now part of the Infinite PawsAbilities family. Thank you to Gold Country Vet for taking her right in. Today she will receive fluids and testing to help get this little one healthy enough to join our program.

We are thrilled that we had six of our pups, including one of our adult dogs in the prison training program, find their forever homes this weekend. We are as exhausted as Rory is, pictured below. 😂 He is still looking for his forever home. We will have meet and greets available in Ione at our facility the first weekend of October.
