Dog of the Week: Meet Sapphire!

We have so many young pups looking for homes right now, and Sapphire is one of our shining stars! ✨ Born in our care, this sweet 7-month-old German Shepherd mix is still waiting for her forever home to find her. 🏡💖 Sapphire is not only adorable but also incredibly smart and eager to please. 🐾

She got her start in our MCSP Puppy Program, where she truly shined. 🌟 Her dedication and intelligence made her a rockstar, earning her a diploma from intermediate obedience training! 🎓 She’s crate trained, potties on a leash, and is well on her way to being an amazing companion. 🐕

While Sapphire can be a bit shy at first, once she warms up, her loving personality shines through. 🌷 She’s past the baby puppy stage, but still young enough to learn and grow with her new family. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 She will need some continued guidance as she navigates life over the next few months, but with her strong foundation and willingness to please, she’ll be a joy to train and bond with. 💞

Snuffles is a 70-pound Pit Bull mix who radiates pure happiness and love. With a smile that could light up the world, this big-hearted boy is the best representative of his breed. He adores everyone he meets – people, dogs, you name it – and he’s never had a bad day in his life!

Snuffles’ enthusiasm for meeting new friends is, well, delightfully exuberant (we’re working on that! 😂). But once his excitement settles, he’s more than happy to hang out, play with his toys, and chill with his pack. Claire’s story began with a rough start – orphaned at just three weeks old, she’s shown incredible resilience and is thriving today! Though her heritage is a mystery (she was listed as a German Shepherd mix, but we see a lot of terrier charm), what’s crystal clear is her loving, gentle nature.

This sweet and soulful girl loves nothing more than to be curled up on someone’s lap, even if she’s starting to outgrow it (shh… don’t tell her!). Claire has a wonderful food drive and thrives during her puppy obedience sessions, showing off her smarts and eagerness to please.

While she gets along well with other dogs, Claire’s heart truly belongs to her humans. At adoption events, after a few playful zoomies, you’ll find her snuggled up on the nearest lap, soaking in all the love and attention she can get.

She’s full of vim and vinegar and absolutely thrilled to meet new people – sometimes a little too thrilled (we’re working on that exuberant greeting style! 😂). Her joyful wiggles are hard to contain, but they’re a testament to her boundless enthusiasm and love for life.

Opal is a star pupil, currently rocking Level Three in our four-level obedience program. She’s smart, eager to learn, and loves to channel her energy into playing fetch with her favorite toys.

While Opal adores all people, she would do best as the only dog in the home, where she can be the center of your world. Her affectionate, playful nature makes her a delightful companion who will fill your days with laughter and love.

Nora is happiest when she’s busy, especially if there’s a ball involved – her love for her ball is unmatched! She’s ready to join you for any adventure, whether that’s exploring the world of dog sports, learning new tricks, or simply being your enthusiastic partner in fun.
