Turbo Tails Transport will be running this weekend. However, we are borrowing a van from a rescue group, which is half the size of our truck. I have no update on our truck that was hit by a drunk driver in Maryland.

Thank you Journey Home Rescue Alliance , Hotel for Homeless Dogs Humane Society & Last Chance Animal Rescue Final Victory, Aiken Co., Darbster Doggy, fosters and adopters for your patience and flexibility while we figured out how to get the rescue dogs and cats to you after being hit by a drunk driver. Thankfully, our other van was not hit. Thank you Project Freedom Ride for helping us. This might be a good time for me to get our other truck back on the road. However, all 43 crates and shelving units were transferred to the truck that was hit by the drunk driver. I'll have to do a wish list or raise money for 41 additional crates and raise money for the shelving units and repair to the generator unit. All of the crates would have to be the same to fit in and on the shelves. We do not stack crates upon crates due to safety reasons and USDA requirements. When I get a plan together, I'd like to share with everyone to possibly help raise the funds to help me. I will keep everyone updated. Thank you everyone.

As if I didn't already have enough pain to deal with. Had to put Sweet Beautiful Lucy down yesterday. On the way to the vet, found out two of my friends passed away yesterday. NOW, A DRUNK HIT MY TRANSPORT TRUCK WHILE THEY WERE PARKED AT A GAS STATION AND FLED THE SCENE. Cops took a report.

I have a truck load of dogs that need to go to Long Island, NY, Cumberland, RI and Chichester, NH. I'm trying to reach out to any other transporters or volunteers that can help. They are stuck in Bel Air, MD. The truck is not operational at this time.

I seriously don't know why all of this has happened non stop since last year, but I can't take much more. I don't know what I've done to deserve this. Another one of my dogs is in heart failure and I can't even afford the care for him. I'm in a financial crisis and if anyone could help us in Maryland and volunteer their time, I would most appreciative.

We are picking up on Friday, August 9th in Augusta, GA, Aiken, SC & West Columbia, SC. Transporting to the northeast to include Scarborough, Maine. Delivering Saturday, August 10th. Turbo Tails Transport is looking to add additional customers to our business. We currently pick up in GA, SC & NC and deliver to the northeast (PA, NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NH, ME). We pick up on Fridays and deliver on Saturdays. We are properly licensed with all agencies and states. We have 2 drivers. We stop for breaks/walks for the adult dogs. Puppies never touch the ground. We feed and water is in the crates at all times. We also transport cats. Our general route, once in the northeast, is usually I-95 (turnpike). We pick up every week. Looking for customers along our route and also customers that send a few to several "crates" of dogs or cats each week or bi-weekly. I have been transporting for 25 years. Where do most shelters and rescue groups need dogs/cats picked up from (city and state) and transported to in the northeast (city and state)? Do you need transport every week or every other week? I'm trying to plan a new route and looking for ideas. I hear people occasionally say they need pick up in Rome, GA, but then I see only 1 or 2, maybe 3 dogs needing pick up from there. We are based out of Columbia, SC

The FIG RIG will arrive back home tomorrow night! Figgy and his Fig Rig will be back in action for the weekend transport. Thanks to the help of a wonderful friend and another person I am very fond of in transport, was going to help as well!!!

Not sure of the route for this weekend yet. I'll have to get some customers first. We will leave out on Friday. Crate rate is $165.00 per crate. Crate Rate is non-negotiable. We are going to do our best to help out while a couple other transporters are temporarily out of the loop.

Well, good news...the truck is ready. Bad news...I don't have the funds to pay for it and bring it home.

I'm at the point where I need to rethink things. I'm not good at fundraising and I'm not a 501c3. I feel like if this was shared with businesses, they would make a small donation and shared with more people, they would make a small donation.

At Turbo Tails Transport, we travel nearly 10,000 miles a MONTH. Yes, a month! We are constantly having to maintenance the transport truck. But occasionally, we have a major breakdown. The truck broke down in Kutztown, PA last week. The truck is at Haldeman Ford of Kutztown, 15465 Kutztown Rd, Kutztown, PA 19530. Service guy is Mike. The repair estimate is $6,500. The rear differential, axel, rotor, brake pad and tire was damaged at the rear end blew apart. I had it towed to Haldeman. After a couple of days, I was able to get my driver, Tim, back to Columbia, SC with another transporter that was coming back to SC.

A couple of days ago, I thought I would try the facebook "boost". Thinking it would help spread the word of the go fund me to help with the repair bill. Well, all it did, was attract scammers! Now everyone is saying I'm running a scam! I get about 50 messages a day from these people. They even infiltrated Fig's page, Fabulous Fig. So instead of getting financial help, I'm getting called a scammer and no further donations have been sent in.

I didn't get into the business to make a lot of money. I got in it because of the love and passion I have for animals. Saving them from euthanasia and giving them a second chance to find a great home, is more rewarding than any dollar made. Unfortunately, with business slow and because this isn't a lucrative business, I can't afford to pay my personal bills, the business bills and the repair bills when I have a repair bill this high. A guy named Stephen Worthington, supposedly a transporter as well, is saying I'm running a scam. If you see my name and the Turbo Tails Transport name in any posts or boards saying I'm running a scam, please let me know.

I hate to keep asking for financial help to get the Fig Rig back on the road, but I need it. I have to get back on the road to save the animals and to keep my employees earning a paycheck so that I don't lose these amazing and dedicated people.

I'm praying the truck will be ready next week. They were having a hard time locating parts, but it gave me a little time to try and raise some money.

If you can donate any amount, it is appreciated more than you know. These innocent pets do not deserve to be euthanized because I can't provide transportation to get them to safety.
