Update: BooBoo is coming home today and the total was approximately $1200 instead. Praise God!!
So we have had a very long weekend. Our sweet BooBoo got ahold of a stuffed animal unbeknownst to us and had to have emergency surgery to remove it. She is doing well in recovery and we are so thankful.
As some of you know, last year was a hard hit for us with no puppies and several surgeries. The quote we were given for this surgery was a high end of $1400. That was a Hail Mary pass from our amazing vet, Dr. Nicole Kahmann, who stayed late to save her life. We have had several people reach out and ask how they can help, so we are swallowing our pride and accepting any help that cann be given.
If you would like to help pay for BooBoo’s surgery, please call Rising Sun Veterinary Clinic Monday, 1/18 or anytime after and let them know you’d like to donate towards BooBoo Jordan’s surgery (my name is Stacy Jordan if they need it). We don’t even want the money to come to our house because we want it all to go towards her. If for some reason more is donated than she needs, we will ask them to keep it for later appointments for her or the other Danes.
Dr. Nicole and staff saved BooBoo. We couldn’t get her in another vet and didn’t have the funds even if we could. They bent over backwards to make the finances even possible, have taken incredibly good care of her, stayed after hours and come in on days off - all to save her life and help our family. If you speak with them, please thank them. And if you are able to help financially or could please pray for her recovery, we want to thank you in advance. We love our Jordan Giants and know y’all do, too.
