STOP WHAT YOU ARE DOING RIGHT NOW! I SAID WHOA!!! Your horses will all DIE if they are outside during the eclipse!
This is not something to take lightly!
Animals have absolutely zero God given instincts and they don't realize that staring at the sun is harmful and stupid.
When the eclipse happens, the sun will be magnified 1 million times more than normal.
It's just science. Obviously.
The eclipse sun will kill all horses that are not in the safety of the barn, or wearing eclipse glasses.
HORSES ARE NOT MEANT TO BE OUTSIDE. EVER. PERIOD.

Everyone knows that's why all of the wild mustangs are extinct because horses are not meant to be outside. It's not safe.
Stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and get your precious fur babies INSIDE before they die!

My 2024 booking is now open!

$700 a month located in Aurora MN 55705

Private ranch with a lot of land including hilly trails, open fields, traffic exposure, round pen, and a (work in progress) outdoor arena. Last year a training horse went on a ride to A&W! Barn with stalls accessible but horses in training will have private paddock board. I feed alfalfa to supplement the exercise involved with training but do adjust to the horse’s needs.

This is the perfect place for your all rounder/c**t start that you want exposed to real life situations!
All outdoor training, rain or shine. Trail miles, WSCA gaming, c**t starts. What are your goals? I work very individually to the horse/owner! Come work/ride with me anytime! My program includes 1-2 weeks of groundwork depending on the horse. Then when we start riding, I believe in balance between long miles and working on the buttons. I rarely stay in one area during a ride.

Monthly payment due at the time of drop off. Horse must have current Coggins and 5-way vaccines.

Firefly is going camping with her owner soon so she got a warm up with the saddle bags. It just happened to be a rainy day too 😆

Throughout training sessions, on the ground and undersaddle, give your horse the chance to process what you just worked through together. Sometimes that means letting them stand, take a few breaths. Other times just walking quietly to move their feet and relax. Set your horse up for success, look for yes answers, and give them the extra moment to process. I’ve learned that taking the extra time in the concept lessons helps reduce the time later on because you don’t have to drill repeatedly to get results.
