A heartwarming Thanksgiving story:
Yesterday somebody found a stray cat at the Monicals in Kentland, IN. Being found in Newton County he should have gone to the Newton shelter but they did not have space so he came here. We posted his photo this morning and Emma's mom immediately recognized him as her daughter's cat Moe that has been missing from Woodland since May! She was so excited he was found we met her at the shelter on Thanksgiving day so she could take him right home! It is thought that the night Moe went missing he hitched a ride in a friend's vehicle to the Kentland area. Turns out Moe is 15 years old and Emma has grown up with him her entire life so she was overjoyed that he was found and got to come home! Moe's vaccines were updated, he was dewormed and most importantly went home with a brand new microchip! Enjoy your Thanksgiving Emma and Moe!
Moe's story teaches us to never give up hope! After 7 months missing, Moe is back home!
