Pupdate from our sweet Mary Belle and Churro. These girls have learned all kinds of new tricks with their devoted dog training Momma. We are so proud! Thanks for being the best guardian and pet parents to our babies. Can’t wait to see what they learn next! You’re the best!
Oh, my sweet sassy girl! 🖤
Blaire 🎀
Sweet, snuggly and laid back girl. She is working hard to get moving around.
Mary Belle 🖤
I decided at birth to hold and evaluate her as a future Mother in our program. She hasn’t given me a choice to decide differently as she has been swooning me with the most precious kisses and cuddles ever since. She is definitely the most loving of the group.
Winnie 🎀
A little bundle of sweet wiggles and is full of life. 🤎
Our sweet babes have little peepers starting to shine through. This sweet girl is going to cuddle back up with her momma and siblings after this sweet yawn. Goodnight 💤 🤎
Snagged this precious moment of one of our baby girls searching for the optimum cuddle position between her sweet Brother and Mommy. Happy one week birthday little ones. We’re so happy you’re here for us to love. 🖤🤎
He moans and groans in his sleep just like his mommy 🥰
This guy graduated out of my bedroom and into the big boy play area in the living room 🥰
He is loving all the room to work his little muscles and the new toys! We sure do enjoy loving on him and watching him grow. 🖤
Pookie (Peanut’s half sister) teaching him all the social skills. 🖤 She’s been patiently waiting for his legs to start working so she would have a baby to play with. She is so so valuable in teaching friendly play to all our babies.
Oh, how those sweet sleepy stretches warm my soul.
Frankie says Good-Morning! Love those vocal yawns and sweet kisses. 🤎
Frankie has had his thorough health exam, parvo series of 3, worming(s), and flea/tick pill. He loves outside and playing with his mom and half sister. I have reviewed applications and at this point I would like to add a few more before making a final placement for Frankie. He is High energy, full of love and cuddles, he’s sleeping in his crate independently like a champ! Frankie will be homed with lots of toys and goodies as are all our babies but he’s acquired a few extra 🥰

Sweet JoJo teaching her half siblings to play 🤎
I wanted to share something that I feel is really important in Introducing puppies of all breeds to grooming. While difficult to video and dry, I did my best 😄
Today was the babies first bath, first blow out, second nail trim, and 4th mild introduction to the feeling of a soft bristle brush on their bodies.
I worked several years as a bather/grooming technician and the consistent wish in the bathing room was…
“I wish this dog had been introduced to the dryer younger”
The dryer plays one of the biggest roles in ensuring your dogs skin is dry which helps to prevent skin infections, eliminates “wet dog” odor prolonging freshly bathed smell; It ensures the hair lays correctly for the type of cut your groomer needs to do.
At this critical age, I introduce the dryer like you see below, on the lowest setting, with gentle heat on. You’ll notice the puppies are Intrigued by the warmth of the dryer as it reminds them of their heat lamp which equals comfort! When the puppies are looking and engaging with me, curious but not afraid of the dryer I continue. The moment they back away with reserve, I stop. This offers a healthy introduction, allows the puppy to navigate this uncertainty on their own terms with zero force. This helps your puppy develop their self confidence and trust, both in you, and their future groomer. They have the safe space to learn what the dryer is and are not afraid of it.
This eliminates a huge amount of anxiety over the course of an animals life during grooming for the puppy, their owner, and the groomer.
Continuing these safe practices and trust building exercises with your puppy are a win/win! Also, your groomer will thank you!!
Got up early this morning and vacuumed the whole house before meetings. Come back in the living room and these two were as confused as I was how the toys got out of the basket. 🤔
Happy New Year from us at Little Legs.
A rambunctious crew as you can see!
We will be enjoying all the warm snuggles to ring in 2023! 🎉
We can’t wait to get to know, and share our hearts with some of you in the coming year. 🤎 🐶
