We keep a homing flock of pigeons to train with year around. During cleaning of the coup, we let all the pigeons out, and the following sometimes happens. We think the bird is a Cooper's Hawk.

We are at the LBJ National Grasslands north of Decatur, Texas running Scout on quail today. He had a lot of finds and ran 11.5 miles. Great Bird Dog.

We had a great day at the TVWC Hunt Test this weekend. We shot some quail, watched some nice dogs hunt and gun acclimated our puppies.

GSPPBirdDogs - UPCOMING LITTER

We're excited to announce an upcoming litter of German Shorthaired Pointer Poodle puppies. Our previous litter was a great success, and all puppies are thriving in their new homes. We have homed our puppies all around the United States. These puppies are excellent bird dogs with strong pointing instincts, good temperaments, and hypoallergenic coats.

Due to high demand, we're planning to breed Scout (GSP) and Tillie (Standard Poodle) again during Tillie's next heat cycle, which is expected within the next three months.

We're opening 10 reservation spots, mirroring the number of puppies from Tillie's last litter. To secure a spot on the waitlist, a deposit is required.

The selection order will be determined by the sequence of deposits received. The first to deposit will have the first pick, the second will have the second pick, and so on. Should the litter be smaller than anticipated, for instance, only 8 puppies, the last two deposits will be refunded or pick 9 and 10 can opt to get on the next litter's pick list (spots 1 and 2). In the event the breeding does not result in a litter, all deposits will be fully refunded unless you want to stay on list for the next breeding, and we will attempt breeding again.

To place a deposit and join the puppy pick list, please contact us via Facebook. Leave your phone number, and we will text you the details for the deposit and your pick number. We also wish to discuss our application process with you. Given the significant interest in our next litter, we expect the list to fill quickly.

Pappy and Ollie puppies did well on 1st gun acclimation training. They both love the quail and bring it back to me and carry quail back to basecamp.

GSPPBirdDogs - Training Day on quail.

Ollie retrieving "Here" and rewarded with a quail. Roxie training on quail - steady to flush. Scout training on stop to flush when he bumped a quail by running over it. Although I didn't get pictures or video of Pappy training on "Here" and rewarded by a quail, he did a great job also.

We are breeding Tillie (Dam Standard Poodle) with Scout (Sire German Shorthaired Pointer), both of which have great pointing instincts, temperaments, and are very biddable for training.
