It’s Official!!!

We are BLANC DE HOTOT BREEDERS!! 😁

I know I’ve been pretty MIA on the FB page lately. It’s been a very busy summer. I’m trying to get caught up but stuff keeps happening so who knows if that will ever happen. That’s life… lol

Anyways I just cannot contain my excitement any longer. We finally were able to breed our beautiful Lake Effect’s Pearlessence with Lake Effect’s Arnold and look at these BEAUTIFUL SHINY BABIES!!! 🥹😍 Mommas been doing good so far. Pearl had 7 babies with 6 currently surviving. She pulled lots of fur!

Arnold also sired another litter with our other Blanc de Hotot doe Diohgi from Tiffany Wayne! She’s currently nursing her beautiful 6 babies as well!! I’m so excited to see these litters grow!!! WOOHOOO!!

Bingo, Rosellas Mini Satin has 3 babies in her box! Excited to see what colors those little ones end up being and for Rosie to get to come to more shows with mom!

Gene also is excited for his first litter to hit the ground! He is a close friend of Noah’s and they bring the rabbits to shows together. We bred Genes rabbit Hunter to the beautiful G1, still trying to think of a good name for this girl, and they had 5 beautiful Mini Lop babies!!

Needless to say this is the biggest Baby boom Johnson’s Bunny Farm has ever had! We pray and wish goodluck to all our first time mommas and their babies.

Sadly none of my Dwarf Hotots took. We may have our hands full with the litters currently on the ground therefore Dwarf rebreeds may have to wait until spring. We will see and keep the page updated best we can.

Hi Everyone,

Just wanted to put a reminder out there that the Isanti County Fair 4H Rabbit show is a week away! The rabbit project is still looking for sponsors for the youth awards! It is $20 to sponsor.

Here is a list of awards that the youth work all year for a chance to win!

•Grand and Reserve Champion breed awards (The best of each breed)

•Grand and Reserve Champion Single Fryer (market)

•Grand and Reserve Champion Market Pen

•Best in Show/Reserve in Show Market

•Best In Show/Reserve in Show Breeding Animal

•Senior/intermediate/Junior Showmanship Grand Champion and Reserve Champion (awarded to the 2 most knowledgeable rabbit show persons in each age class)

•Cloverbud (K-2) Showmanship awards

Isanti County is blessed to have a competitive and caring group of kids in the rabbit project. I’ve been around the project for quite some time. These kids all work really hard and care a lot about eachother and their animals. If you’d like to sponsor you can message me or reach out to the Isanti County 4-H Extension Office at 763-689-1810. The office is setting up for fair so feel free to leave a message or let me know if you need help connecting to someone.

Hello! We are one week away from the Isanti County Rabbit Funshow!! I wanted to share a little reminder! We have some AWESOME prizes picked out for BOB/BOS/Showmanship/BIS/RIS winners!

We are still accepting donations for our raffle fundraiser! Feel free to bring a donation item to the show when you come! Funds raised help support the Isanti County Rabbit Project.

Had a fun time at the Rothsay show yesterday!

Yesterday was my first time going solo to a show as Noah had conferences for wrestling, but we did alright😉

I got to spend my day as a writer! That was a lot of fun and I learned a lot! I really enjoyed getting to be up there and watching other breeds be evaluated.

Hopeful we can make it to more shows this year!
