Good morning, the weather has been in the triple digits so please make sure your pets have plenty of shade, water and food. Don’t leave them tied up outside with no shade or anything. I will be patrolling today and checking on dogs that are outside.

Foxie is now available for adoption. Sweet little female puppy, only 24 months old. She is Kennel Trained, and house trained. Beautiful dog, and loves playing with chew toys. Contact City Hall if you are interested in adoption. We have several more puppies going up for adoption here pretty soon.

The Itasca VFD will host their annual fireworks show on Thursday, July 4th. The event kicks off at 3pm with bounce houses, water slides & vendors.

🎆 The fireworks show will begin at dark. 🎆

The Auxiliary will be selling hamburgers and hotdogs in the concession stand. Vendors are welcome to come out!

Parking and viewing the fireworks show will be in the SEC parking lot, the tennis courts, the practice field, and the high school parking lot. Areas will be marked. You will be able to view from the bleachers if needed.

Good morning, Itasca will be doing a fire works show tomorrow around the High school area. With that being said please make sure to secure dogs and have them in a safe area in case they get scared. I don’t want them running away or getting loose. Also we are starting to hit triple digit temperatures so please make sure your dogs have plenty of shade, water and food. Good morning, with the hot days approaching us there will come excessive heat. Please make sure your dog has cover and plenty of water and food. Please do not leave them outside and leave them with no shade even if it’s for a short period of time. I will be coming around checking for dogs that are outside with no shade, water or food and making contact so the issues can be fixed. Do you recognize these 2 dogs? They have been roaming around town around north forest street and now on hill street here in Itasca, Texas. If they belong to you they need to be picked up and put up. Good Morning, I’m noticing more owners letting their dogs run loose unattended. Please be aware we do have an ordinance in place where they cannot roam around unattended and in the street. They need to be secured when outside and have plenty of shade, water and food. If you have any question/concerns please reach out. Thank you

Good morning. With the projected storms coming and the past storms that have already hit. Please secure your dogs in a safe place with plenty of water and food. If at all possible please don’t leave your dogs outside leashed with no shelter. Please provide some kind of shelter for your dog. Good Morning, as most of you know our kennels were impacted by the structural fire last night. Myself along with my other ACO AD as well as 2 HCS officers were able to get all dogs out of the kennels and to safety. No dogs were harmed I REPEAT NO DOGS WERE HARMED IN THIS FIRE. Right now the kennels are temporarily closed till we figure this out. Any donations are appreciated Thank you…
