2 new horses sent to me this evening for a tune up and all around work. The client just wants to see how far I can get them in 30 days. Mia is the cute little paint mare and Moon is the tall thoroughbred mare. Looking forward to working with them!

Mare dropped off this evening for 2 weeks of training from a client who has sent me other horses in the past and was happy with my work!

She was sent to me for groundwork and working on loping without kicking out.

Correcting bad behavior has to be done immediately after the behavior is done. When training horses pressure and release has to be done quickly for the horse to catch on to what is being asked

This mare was sent to me because she was bucking every time she was asked to lope. As you can see in the video the mare picks up quick that she is doing the wrong thing and by the end of the video she is loping off nicely without bucking or kicking out.

Just had another horse go home after 7 days. What a pleasure he was to work with! I now have a spot open for another horse to come to my farm and be worked with!

I have one spot open currently for horse training, I can start a horse, work with babies on ground manners and desensitizing and saddle and loading and will take them on trials with older horses, I can also work horses on barrels and poles, and also do general horsemanship work, I also have a 100 acres with trails and creeks and cows, and access to another 1,000 acres of miles and miles of trails to work them on.

• give lessons and provide the horse, or one on one lessons with you and your horse
• Start horses
• Work with yearlings and babies on all the stuff they need before they are old enough for us to get on their backs
• Work with greenbroke horses
• Train on Barrels and Poles
• Trail riding work
• Help with problem/issue horses
• Or just putting a better handle on a horse, really just about anything, except roping cows and goat tying, I don’t have the setup for that right now

Mia got a lot of exposure today, we even went to church!

Introduced Moon 🌙 to the training fork. She did awesome with it! Also you can see in the video she is doing well with learning how to work off leg pressure and neck rein. She is also getting good at roll backs all while giving to the bit and bending at the poll. She has been a breeze to train💗

Rainy day fun with a 5 year old

Made time to work one of my personal horses today. This is a quarter/thoroughbred gelding that was played around on the barrels several years in the past but was never shown how to do them correctly and formed some bad habits. I’ve been trying to work on getting him to get his shoulder pass the barrel and pick up his nose and shoulder when turning the barrel, and also getting him more bendy around the barrel. Excuse my ugly riding I was working hard to get him to do it correctly haha
