What a fantastic clinic weekend. What a wonderful group. Everyone is so supportive of each other. Saturday we were able to be in the outdoor, Sunday it was cold and rainy, so we moved into the covered arena.

A fantastic weekend for clinics. Saturday we had 9 participants in the New Shooter clinic. With the help of Fae, Mark, Michele, Jason, Chris and MaryHelen, we were able to successfully get everyone shooting off of their horses.
Saturday we had another clinic. We had a few new faces and got another shooter started. We worked on a new drill, worked on horsemanship, body control and course management. These weekends are my favorite.

The horses have definitely been getting used to the different noises of chainsaws, and chippers. So thankful for help working on getting things cleaned up from the storm. On the positive side, it’s been a good training opportunity for the horses.

Deja, owned by Rachel Little, got to go on her first outing last weekend. She had a lot of firsts. She gained a lot of confidence throughout the weekend.

Jazzy June, owned by DeLana John, got to go and do demos at her first shoot this past weekend. Seeing the amount of confidence she gained was amazing. By the end of Sunday, DeLana was able to shoot the last two patterns off of her.

We had a fantastic New Shooter Clinic. Everyone was successfully able to shoot off of their horses.

Mathew Haulbrooks joined us this weekend for his first time trying out Cowboy Mounted Shooting. Him and his awesome horse Newt were shooting full patterns by the end of the day. We have a new M1 starting the new season with us.
