Can you feel the change in the air? The BER months are fast approaching! 🍂

We are currently taking bookings for the upcoming season, spanning from September to December. We recommend booking your pup's stay in advance to avoid availability issues! We are booking up fast for the month of October especially!

Please message me with your preferred dates, and I will check my schedule! 😁 You may always go to our pinned post on our page to check if your dates are available as well! Please always check in with us if your dates show they are booked as it may not be accurate due to changes/cancellations!

Did you know I can come to your home to care for your furbabies??? 🏡 🐶 🐱 🐴 🐔 🐹

This is my favorite thing to do for my clients! Drop-in visits are the perfect service for those pets who are nervous going new places and just want to stay in the comfort of their home! With drop-in visits to your home, I can come as many times as you need depending on my availability! I try to make drop-in visits as easy to book as it is ordering door dash! They don’t call me The Dog Dasher for no reason!

Here are some pictures of some of the doggos and kitties I have cared for in their homes the past month! If you need care for other pets too, I also have experience in caring for chickens, horses, small animals, etc.! Please don’t hesitate to reach out!

Don’t forget, I also offer dog walks and transportation to and from daycare, groomers, the vet, park walks, etc. 😁

We adopted Bear back in June and we have been dying to know what makes Bear, Bear! We just did a DNA test on him! While we wait to hear back the results, what better way to wait than to have a give away to guess what he is!!!

In light of the recent emergency intake of around 70 animals (30-40 dogs, and 20 cats) at our local shelter, I have decided to start a pet food drive for Campbell County TN Animal Center!

When can we start dropping off donations? 🗓️
I will be collecting donations starting now until the end of the month and will donate all the food throughout the coming weeks! July 24-30th is National Feed a Rescue Pet Week, so it is the perfect time to donate!

What food is needed? 🦴 🐟
The shelter uses Pedigree products for the dogs and Purina complete for the cats! If you are unable to get this kind, I know they will be happy with any and all donations you can make! 🐶 🐱

Where can we drop off our donations?📍
You may drop off all food at The Dog Dasher! We are located conveniently right off the main road at 271 Valley Street in Jacksboro! All you have to do is drop off your donations in the large blue tote beside of the gate in our driveway! If you’d like to donate it directly to the shelter, you can drop it off there as well!

If you can’t donate, but still want to help, please share this post! The shelter needs any donations they can get (not just food)! 🙏🏻

In light of our current situation, we are asking for fosters for the dogs that we have had. Some have been on Facebook, and several have been in our Homeward Bound Project. The ones that are in HBP, have a volunteer that can answer a number of questions for you. These dogs are all vetted and adoption ready.
Our staff is looking at a massive amount of extra work. Every dog that we can foster out can help ease that burden.
The shelter can supply food, if needed. You can also get flea/heartworm meds for your foster.
Please consider helping🙏🙏🙏❤️

To foster for us, we ask that your current pets be fixed and current with their rabies vaccine. You just have to stop by the shelter to fill out a volunteer application.

Be an angel for the animals at Campbell County TN Animal Center! We need your support to care for an emergency intake of 30-40 dogs and over 20 cats. Please consider donating fleece blankets, towels, sheets, Dawn dishwashing liquid, dog and cat food, and kitty litter. Remember that this is in addition to the 40 dogs we already house. We will look for volunteers tomorrow if you can clear your schedule—more information to come. Donations can be dropped off at the shelter. Used sheets, towels and blankets can be used😊

❤️❤️🐾BOBA IS GOING TO RESCUE🐾❤️❤️

Boba is a six month old Great Pyrenees full of love! We have been fostering him and he has done great with every dog that has come here! He has a great temperament, has had zero accidents in the house, crate trained, loves people/kids, and loves to play with other dogs! He is so gentle when taking treats, gives you lots of kisses, and just wants to lay right beside you! Anywhere we take him he will just lay right beside you and settle! He’s the best! He absolutely loves sticking his head out the window too! He has learned how to sit while here with us and we are also working on here, stay, and down! He’s already so loyal to his people and loves to sit and watch over his property. I am a little biased, but I truly believe they are one of the best breeds out there! If you want a dog who is great with kids, a great guard dog, loyal to their family, and can be your best friend, he is the dog for you! Please know he will be a very big boy when fully grown. He has done great so far on a leash, but he will be very strong when he is older. He will need someone who can keep up with his training!

As part of helping Boba find his fur-ever home, I want to give whoever chooses to adopt him a $100 credit to use here at The Dog Dasher! This can be for boarding, doggy daycare, drop-ins, or a dog walk! We love Boba and just want him to find a loving home that he deserves! ❤️❤️❤️ Please send him back to play with us! Bear has turned into his best friend!
