When registering for any of our events please take into account the time of the event.

From this point on, if participants are more than 10 minutes late they will not be allowed into the classes that are time sensitive.
Joining classes extremely late is disruptive to the entire class who have also paid to be here, and is disrespectful to their personal time they devoted to be here.

Also as a reminder, children are not allowed on the farmette unattended. And will not be permitted into events that are not child friendly.
Our farm animals are very friendly, but they’re still animals with minds and feelings of their own.
Anyone chasing any of our animals will be asked to leave the farmette immediately.
This is for the safety of your child AND our animals.
It’s not fair to the animal to feel threatened and scared.
We care very much about all of our animals and each have their own story before we RESCUED them.

Our newest resident we found hopping around the garden and trying to escape a crow.. Wilson is a little Robin who can’t seem to keep his neck or his toes straight. So every night we’ve been bringing him in for protection, and every morning after he blesses us with the song of his people at 6 am, his mama greets him in the garden to feed him. He’s getting stronger each day 💪

Woke up to FRESH AIR! We’re at 115 here, a lot better than 360. We had to take into the house a few chicks who were pale in the face, of which, we lost one overnight. I guess the damage was done unfortunately. Along with a wild bird we found in the yard.. awful but hopefully the end of any issues with our animals here

One full minute of ✨MINNIE✨
4 month old lemon beagle female
Minnie is 11 lbs soaking wet. She’s very petite, but don’t let that small fry fool you! She keeps up with the 25 lbs puppies just fine, and even starts them up with the zoomies!
Minnie is the perfect mix of energy & snuggles. As you can see, you can play as much as you’d like with Minnie, and then when you’re done, she’s done too. Pick her right up and squeeze her, she’ll lay on your chest or lap for hours quietly.
Minnie is crate trained, and when she goes in for the night, there’s not another p*ep out of her. She happily lays down to go to sleep.
Minnie doesn’t mind a bath, we even caught her playing with the hose today!
She’s good with children, other dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, you name it! She’s friendly all around.
There’s not a mean bone in her body. she’s just sweet sweet SWEET.

Why has everyone overlooked Minnie?! Minnie is SWEET as pie, she’ll snuggle with you forever and sit in your lap calmly but when it’s time to play Minnie gets the zoomies! She’s very petite, at a whopping 11 lbs soaking wet. Yet she keeps up with the big 25 lb boys no problem! Minnie is good with kids, babies, dogs, cats, even our other farm animals such as chickens and goats. She does not chase, she comes when called, and have we mentioned how sweet she is? PSA it’s come to our attention that a local farm that has a similar name and concept to us has been having issues with trespassing (or just people dropping by looking for OUR farm). Neither are ok. We do not offer open business hours, we have private classes that you must register for in advance. This is a private residence as well as the other farm. There’s been an issue of people just wandering the other farms’ property and hanging out, and also leaving trash! If you do not speak to someone and obtain an address, you’re not yet allowed to come!

Living a “simple” life isn’t actually simple. It’s actually a lot harder. It requires you to grow the food you eat, not just pluck it off a shelf at the grocery store. It requires you to plan, organize, and push your body to limits most generally wouldn’t push.

But don’t be fooled—it may be physically more demanding, but it is good and holy work. It is Spiritually rewarding. Why else would the Bible be full of gardeners, farmers, and shepherds? It wasn’t just because of the culture or era.

God created man in the garden. There’s simply something special about it. About working with your hands. About stewarding the earth.

If we read the Bible literally, then livestock still equal blessings and riches. If we read the Bible literally, then basketfuls of harvest and kneading troughs are still blessings and tasks worthy of working.

Homesteading has changed me, but not just because of a lifestyle change. It has changed me because I stepped away from a media job that was demanding and overstimulating, and stepped into a quieter way of living. Also known as—more time with Jesus.

Quiet mornings with coffee and chickens turns into praising the Lord for mercies and blessings. They truly are new every morning.

Humid summer evenings turn into asking God what His will is for that day’s situations.

Frigid winter days turn into writing down plans for what the Lord wants you to establish in the seasons to come. Not just in regard to farming, either.

Homesteading has a way of stripping you of your pride and ego, because to be used efficiently in any way in life, you must surrender all. All of you. Every bit…..to Him. To the work He has for you. To the animals and garden that need you. To the community that needs what you offer.

My encouragement to you today—let every past struggle, present bitterness, and future expectations fade away. And fall completely into the the depths of His Spirit, what He’s teaching you, what He wants you to do, and where He wants you to go. I promise, it’s worth it. And none of it…not a single bit of it…is about you, anyway.

These smart pups seem to be crate trained or they’re just that good! They also don’t mind the bath, having hands in their food dishes while eating, and walking on a leash and harness!

4 month old lemon beagle mix puppies available:

MINNIE- Female (ADOPTED)
MICKEY- Male (ADOPTED)
BLU- Male possible Shepard / Doberman mix (ADOPTED)
MIA- Female (ADOPTED)

The puppies were removed from a less than ideal situation and are looking for FOREVER homes.
The lemon puppies are estimated to be 25-35 lbs full grown.
All puppies were socialized with children and are very friendly. Minnie is a little shy but we’re working with her.
All puppies will go UTD with shots and deworming. Spay/ Neuter will be family’s responsibility and proof of altering will be required with the adoption contract.
Puppies seem to be crate trained but it should be assumed that PUPPIES ARE NOT CRATE OR HOUSE BROKEN AT ALL.
Puppies do not mind the other animals on our farm but will “play” and chase chickens.
Will only go to approved homes on contract! This is NOT a first come first serve, this is a BEST HOME BEST SERVE

4 remaining needing homes, the chocolate guy included. Very sweet, playful pups. Were socialized with children.
They will go ONLY to approved homes on contract including NO breeding.

*PLEASE do not inquire before you’ve done your research on the beagle breed. They love to wander, need a fenced in secure yard and need to be WATCHED at all times no matter how long they live with you!*

Stinky Pete Update

Pete's eyes are totally open today, even if it doesn't look like it. We still can't see any eyeballs, just tissue that's covering the sockets. She has no response to our hands waving in front of her face, etc. Off to the vet again before the end of the week to see what our options are before we declare her blind. Her (hopefully temporary) disability doesn't get her down though. She was very upset in her new surroundings initially, but now she's thriving. She loves to play with anything that makes noise. She likes hunting your fingers if you scratch the floor in front of her! And she loves belly rubs! Her congestion is getting better and only minimal boogers today 🥰 Scarecrow & Jack-o-Lantern are healing up nicely & are SO playful! We'll be looking at having important blood work done for them soon to check for any other diseases. #goodkarma #rescuerehab #letyourkarmabegood #EverythingElseWillFollow #adoptdontshop #PrayersforPete
