As the 2024 calving season comes to an end, we're excited to announce the arrival of our newest and cutest members yet!

Our herd has grown by a total of two bull calves and three heifer calves, all of whom are thriving under the watchful eyes of their Highlander mamas.

It’s that time again! We have only TWO steer available for purchase! Butchering date is set for this coming October 2024! Please reach out to us regarding any questions!

The cost is
🐮$3.25/pound hanging weight to pay for the beef (paid to Crites Creek Farm)
🥩$0.75/pound hanging weight to pay for processing (paid to butcher)

EXAMPLE ONLY NOT EXACT AS EACH COW WEIGHT VARIES.

Example based on approximate weight of 900 LBS for WHOLE cow hanging weight.
Example (whole cow): 900 pound hanging weight
900x$3.25= $2,925
900x$0.75=$675
TOTAL ESTIMATED: $3,600

Example (half cow): 450 pound hanging weight
450x$3.25= $1,462.5
450x$0.75=$337.50
TOTAL ESTIMATED: $1,800

Example (quarter cow- NOTE: processing fee goes to $0.80): 225 pound hanging weight
225x$3.25=$731.25
225x$0.80=$180
TOTAL ESTIMATED: $911.25

We do have 2 more to be butchered but not until December 2024 so if you do not need meat at this time we can always help get you down for the next round. Please message us or comment below so we can better assist with any questions!

NOTE: We do already have our butcher picked that we feel has the best quality in the area so the cow will be processed through them unless you purchase a WHOLE cow then we can arrange to drop cow off at your chosen location or keep with our butcher whatever you prefer! 😊
