We have been so quiet over here, but it’s because we have been busy with travel, life, our own animals, and pet sitting!

One of our fun December jobs included caring for our friend’s farm. This family we love has known Liam since we moved here when he was only 2 years old. We were honored they would trust him and us to take care of their whole farm. It was a great learning experience for Liam and for us!

We had mama goats about to drop their babies, but they held off until their parents came home. 🙏🏻 This job included fish, a leopard gecko, a cat, a Great Pyrenees, a big ol’ pig, chickens, and goats.

We will be back to regular pet sitting in January, so let your friends and family know. Liam will be rounding out his senior year and preparing for his first adventure as a future zoologist. Schedule early before his calendar fills up!

We have great news from Dr. Doolittle’s Pet Sitting Club!

Liam has been offered acceptance and scholarships to each of the colleges/universities to which he applied:

Texas A & M
University of Alaska - Fairbanks
Oregon State University - Honors College
Eckerd College in FL
University of North Dakota - Honors College
Colorado State University
Kansas State University

Each school was carefully selected based on the programs they offered in zoology/wildlife biology/marine science. Now it’s time to make some decisions!

Liam had quite the adventure out west, and if anything, it solidified his calling. 🐍🦎🐢

His schedule has a few openings for pet sitting through 2023, so tell your people and get on his schedule before he’s all booked up!

Liam is officially off the clock for pet sitting until after November 15. 🤗🤗🤗

He has worked very hard on his school work, has been SLAMMED with pet sitting, has been busy with jiu jitsu and animal care, and has been (reluctantly but gradually becoming excited 😝) applying to colleges for wildlife biology/zoology/marine science. We will be on a two week excursion to Arizona in November, so he is going to take some time now to rest and let his immune system recover before we take this special trip.

Some of you may not know that Liam is a T1 diabetic AND is on the autism spectrum. Some days are hard for him if he’s had a rough week of roller coaster blood sugars or if he’s been overwhelmed. Sometimes we have to help him with pet sitting visits, and we are glad to do this. Those of you who have hired him have given him a great opportunity to learn responsibility, to learn about animal behaviors, and to learn a little about running a small but unofficial business. Thank you, each and every one of you, for asking Liam to care for your babies. Each pet we take care of is very special to our family. We love them all!

We have two dogs at home that are Stage 5 Clingers, so we understand the importance of giving them some love while they are missing their favorite humans. Here you can see that even Liam’s daddy helps out on the job when we are trying to give everyone attention. 💜💜💜

Just a reminder that Liam only offers in home visits. We have way too many pets of our own to be able to offer boarding at our home. 😭 When we visit your house, we stay a while to play and snuggle to make sure they get lots of love and attention!
